First of all, if you've never played this deck, and you have any Johnny in you, try it out. It's insanely fun. For serious. While it is very fun to play, I had my doubts about its actual competitive viability. I assumed that a bit of graveyard hate would cause the deck to cease to function, causing me to lose almost all games 2 and 3. After playing a bunch, I've found that smart play can help a ton. The true key is margins. Every correct play gives you a little percentage help. They add up. Jedi mind also tricks help. If you can second sunrise with left, you can fool your opponent into not using the grave hate, thinking you have another sunrise. When you go for the noxious revival, they seem to think that indicates that you don't have another second sunrise, which is when you do, and thus you render the grave hate useless. Defense grid is absurd against control, and is a windmill slam on turn 2. Overall, very fun deck, plus absolutely insanely cheap to build (besides the lotus blooms and mistys (which don't really need to be in there, they're just nice to have. Could also be scalding tarns for all the difference it makes)), the deck is under $20. Happy building!
Hey hey! It won a PT! Against a field full of jund! WOOOO!
