DD Kiora, the Crashing Wave By Epic_Bubble Aug 21, 2014 Category Icon Landrid Blog Currently 0 / 5 0 So this is the first in what will hopefully be a long list of sort of theme decks I have made. The decks are modeled after the duel deck product line and typically follow their guidelines. So 1 mythic, 5 rares, stick to the theme , make it playable, ensure its simply to follow and other things. Here is the first GUKiora, the Crashing WaveUG Sink and Swim DeckMagic OnlineOCTGN2ApprenticeBuy These Cards Lands11x island1x Remote Isle1x Mosswort Bridge2x Simic Guildgate9x ForestCreatures1x Tidal Warrior1x Fyndhorn Elves1x Nimbus Swimmer2x Dream Thrush1x Spiketail Hatchling1x Gaea's Skyfolk2x Kiora's Follower1x Drakewing Krasis1x Vodalian Serpent1x Jungle Barrier2x Pouncing Wurm1x Ondu Giant1x Sages of the Anima1x Sealock Monster1x Merfolk of the Depths1x Shipbreaker Kraken1x Simic Sky SwallowerSpells1x Font of Fertility1x High Tide1x Ior Ruin Expedition1x Spell Rupture1x Simic Charm1x Temporal Spring1x Cultivate ’1x Dissolve2x Tidal Wave1x Churning Eddy1x Explosive Vegetation1x Kiora, the Crashing Wave1x Rite of Replication1x Leafdrake Roost1x Quicksilver Geyser So when looking at Kiora what do we know, she likes big creatures, she will do whatever it takes to make sure those creatures come into play. She is an ocean dweller and can command it. The deck is focused on getting the big creatures out and delaying ones opponent as much as possible. The delay is not by trickery or cunning, most of the time its just slamming a bunch of water into the opponents face. While the big creatures are pretty easy to come up with. I.E krakens and Serpents. What smaller creatures would Kiora use? Maybe ones that can serve her well, have a purpose in her plans. Kiora I imagine is the Timmy/Jonny dream, figuring out how to get the big stompy creatures into play.
