FOREWORD: I did not intend to spell the blog name wrong.
Hello. I uh, well, am the king of casual decks in my area. Basically, a group of friends and I say "No more than $30 on a deck" and we have a blast with it. Doing this has actually helped me be a better builder, since Modern and EDH are my loves. I have one friend who will only ever play control, but likes standard. So maybe I'll post lists of my ideas. That said, I do enjoy building decks. I do a lot of concepts in my free time, but don't play test many of them. Why? Because that's frickin expensive to buy like every other common and uncommon ever printed and have them mailed to my house. Highschool never prepared me for deck building. Recently though, I built an Angels themed deck for my girlfriend, since she's new to all of this. I'm also a judge, by the way. 3rd level. So explaining the rules is easy, but you'd think that she would explode if she could tell you what Calciform Pools does and how to effectively use it.
So if you're into modern, EDH, like old cards, or want to learn how to have fun with Magic but don't want to spend more than $10, I think I can help you out.
