A Look At Every Iteration Of The Ninja Turtles Coming To Magic — Michelangelo

The next Universes Beyond set, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, is right around the corner. As we continue our look at every version of the Ninja Turtles coming to Magic, we turn our attention to Michelangelo.  The weird one, the fun one, the party turtle, Michelangelo is often portrayed as the least mature of the four Ninja Turtles.  In Magic, Mikey is a green creature with appearances in all four rarities.

Common

mikey1

There is one Michelangelo printed as a common. Michelangelo, Game Master costs 2G and is a 3/3. Its Disappear ability says “At the beginning of your end step, if a permanent left the battlefield under your control this turn, put a +1/+1 counter on Michelangelo.”

Uncommon

Mikey2

There was one uncommon Michelangelo printed as well.  Michelangelo, Mutant BFF costs 2GG and is a 4/4.  His card text reads:

Each creature you control with a counter on it can’t be blocked by more than one creature.

Whenever Michelangelo enters or attacks, create a Mutagen token. (It’s an artifact with “1, Tap, Sacrifice this token: Put a +1/+1 counter on target creature. Activate only as a sorcery.”)
