Collected Conjuring might be worth it with 4 Ancestral Vision in your deck if Legacy Shardless Agent is any indication, but will a deck that can support UR sorcery Collected Company for sorceries be too bad for Modern?
Collected Company decks have known that 28 creatures that can be hit is the sweet spot for Collected Company to be worth it. I can't think of too many sorceries that I want to hit randomly off the top of my deck with no context. Company was also an instant and turning over the right creatures can suddenly win the game.

This is just a very unfortunate card. It could have been great, but the cmc restriction and not hitting instants as well really hurts this- even if it stayed a sorcery itself.

You know that BGx can use one of these as well, right? It's a tool that you can use.

I think they're a great deck building option. I can think of a few places where I absolutely want these and others where I know that the life loss will be fatal. BGx can benefit from their opponent paying life for a few turns, BGx can benefit from being able to draw their own cards with this land.

These lands have real costs to use. That's a wonderful thing for the format... Choices, options, costs. Not just "I get everything and it costs me nothing".

I think it only hits sorceries because hitting a duplicate spell might be too strong

Oh wow, I think you're right. At first I thought you meant a duplicate (noun) spell, like just another Collective Conjuring, rather than a duplicate (verb) spell, like Twincast. Of course, that means your original Collective Conjuring only gets one "real" hit, but if you can keep chaining, that is pretty degenerate.
I don't think this would work because Conjuring has to resolve in its entierty before you can cast the spells it hits, which means that Conjuring isn't on the stack to be duplicated.

Collected Company was only creatures after all.
Ya, but creatures are good. Sorceries are generally very questionable and frequently lumped in with instants.

This guy is cool. Just live it up. Probably won't go in Whir Prison anyway.

    So... no Snow duals? FINE!

These are cool though, it'll be interesting to see how other color combinations start fitting these into their lists.

If you meant enemy colored snow lands that etB tapped, the ally ones were uncommon in Coldsnap, so could be an uncommon cycle here.

If you were talking about Snow-Taiga duals, those are close enough to violating the reserved list that they won't happen, based on WotC's stance on other cards.
... No, they could be any kind of land with two types of mana produced that can enter untapped. Many people are using the term dual to describe these fictional lands because there isn't a real name for them. They could be snow versions of Check lands, Shock lands, Fast lands, etc., or most likely some other interesting version that makes them unique and Snow. Why the jump immediately to alpha duals?

I think there is a typo. They all say "Pay 1 life" instead of "Pay $10".

In the meantime, Force of Despair looks like it has rather fussy timing to me. Being free mana-wise definitely helps, but I doubt it's maindeckable--the kill conditions are too specific and remind me of Hallowed Moonlight. I guess trying to think of it as a black Essence Scatter might help its playability? Wait, Essence Scatter isn't Modern-playable....
I think it's a fixed timing Hallowed Moonlight. With Moonlight you need to drop it in response to a creature being cheated in, then your opponent knows not to go ham with more the rest of the turn. With FoD, you can wait, bluff, declare blockers, and scoop up all the maximum value without them being aware of anything.

My biggest issue, again is the word "Destroy". So many reasons why it's just not a relevant word anymore. Exile is just the new "cannot be regenerated".

All three of the Forces do something to hurt Twin so far. It’s fairly interesting.

Despair has to survive the random discard against Hollow One, but otherwise it seems like a pretty sweet include.

There are a good deal of cards running around that I haven't been able to verify sources on. I think verifying sources is going to be very important going forward.

I've seen Brainstorm as well now, but I think we can all agree that that isn't coming to Modern without serious repercussions.

The collector number says uncommon, but the symbol is rare.

I think the most unfortunate text on this card is the word "Destroy". Simply put, Welding Jar exists.

So many... Why so many? I can understand Gush, I can understand Daze, I can understand Probe, but all three at once?

Did you read the article? “Many decks mix and match a combined total of about eight copies of these three cards, so banning just one of them would cause decks to converge on eight total copies of the other two—a fairly minimal effect on the strength of those decks.”

Wasn't that sentence referring to Ponder, Preordain, and Brainstorm?
Mm, I believe that is how I read it as well, but looking back at it it's a bit more clear given the push of context.

    But still... So many.
