Hello EDH friends, Crosis the Purger here and in other news I'll be making something special in the next few weeks for the Clan. See you then!

I'm looking for a 750x250 banner with the following pictures from left to right, Nicol Bolas(older version), Scroll Rack and War Report. Nicol Bolas and War Report should be in the background grayscaled and Scroll Rack should be in full color in the center. If the width needs to be shortened to fit the images in, that's acceptable.

In front of all of it should be "The EDH Report" in Army Font lettering, black or white, whichever color stands out better (and effects can be used if needed). http://www.ffonts.net/Army.font

Not that it's much to talk about as I don't have a video of it, I witnessed a friend buy a Innistrad fat pack and pull 3 Liliana of the Veil. The store owner and I could not believe it and on top of that, the guy didn't play magic; he just bought it for kicks and maybe play the game later on (pack was bought just before M13's release.)

I'm just happy everything I wanted in M14 cost me less than 20 bucks. Multiples of Strionics, Rings, Evocations, Dark Realms and D. Prophecy.

My new mission is to buy all the Planechase Cards and begin the ultimate "Planechase Commander Draft". I'm about 70% done with it.

My own conspiracy theory for Venser is that he'll just be revived as a (possibly UB) Phyrexian Walker. It just seems so completely obvious as I wouldn't put it past Phyrexia to just revive everything and put a Flux Capacitor on it and call it a Tardis.

My FNM consisted of a 5 hour game of EDH, waiting till midnight to buy 3 Ring of Three Wishes, 2 Rise of the Dark Realms and a Strionic Res, as well as a deal that involved 60 of my dollars and me pocketing some Demonic and Cruel Tutors, Memory Jar, and a way to play Progenitus, Child of Alara, Havengul Lich and Gisela in my Riku Deck.

Also it was on a Thursday.

Drownyards take 4 mana to use and 4 mana is my end game; I'll never use it effectively and Duskmantle Guildmage does similar for the same mana. It would be a thing for Entering but not worth it. I don't mean to offend but why would they even bother making a MM2?

And I figure its somewhat likely we'll get thoughtseize within the next block, but isn't M.R. working on Theros and notoriously anti-control?

I think what would happen (and what I would like to see) are the opposite with what they did with the first Commander decks; run allied colors and we get some new "Shard" generals and multicolor cards that would depict a "what's going on in plane 'X'" just to get some flavor of what's going on after their respective storylines.

And I know this is a bit off topic but what if they ever make a Commander booster box? Would it be great or would it get blown out of proportion and be ridiculously expensive like every other specialty set?

Thanks to the Traumatize I pulled the other day, it gave me an idea on how to make a somewhat decent mill deck work that might stand a chance in standard. I honestly doubt it but I think it's worth testing. I built the deck assuming M13 has cycled out just to see how it would work.



Played it with a friend who had a simple Rakdos deck and did well enough once I stopped doing misplays and seems to work if I can get my land down and do a quick mill right at the start. Breaking/Entering and Duskmantle Seer are my backup in case it takes too long but it's definitely needs more playtesting and Lazav in the Sideboard.

But seriously, you'd be surprised how some store owners couldn't care less when all they really want to do is make money. And they sure as heck can't blame me if they put a Bonescythe Sliver in their sell box for 2 dollars and a Legends not chronicles Concordant Crossroads for $5. This is also the same store that sold Mondern Masters for 15 a piece right off the bat. Also going to do a massive trade with the owner tomorrow so that's more than likely going to end either in my favor or for my EDH decks; I just hate the idea of parting with my Sliver Queen since its on the "reserve list" and From the DarkMaze of Ith.

Suggestions?

Also Traumatize then Keening Stone is a hilarious way to end the day after I suggest a sandwich with Bacon of Tomorrow, Tomato, Moon Sage and Mycosynth Lettuce, all on a Porcelain Legionnaire plate along with a bowl of CornFlux, all part of this complete beatdown.

Though with Traumatize in standard, I'm going to try to get into standard with Dimir. I have an idea and I'll share it later.

Thanks to my Mind-taking skills, I managed to snag the M14 B/R intro deck and pulled a Traumatize and Oath of the Ancient Wood. Then I also got the Promo Bonescythe Sliver. I was hoping I would pull better but it was worth the chance to pull something since I can't hit the Prerelease.

Bah, so what? It'll be even funnier as they waste time trying to stop it while I counter with something else. My commander games sometimes don't necessarily involve me winning; just doing the most over the top, ridiculous things around the table with my Bolas hat on, laughing maniacally, cough in between and laugh again, swing Merit Lage for 20, then Fling it.

Either that or cast Devastation with Grimoire of the Dead on the field.

I was thinking Sen Trips with a few small things and counters and then gigantor stompies like Blightsteel Falafel and Sphinx of Key Words. I'll just troll the game by doing nothing and waiting for something to happen while I just play land/end, exactly as planned for Esper.
