Thassa, God of the Sea hasn't been impressing you because it's from the versions with Spreading Seas and creatures like Meddling Mage. You are able to easily turn her on and attack, in your version you may be better served byMonastery Siege if you like looting or play against a lot of burn in your local meta.
The deck requires at least 14 green sources if that's what you are curious about. I haven't seen a list anywhere not hitting that number and CoS is not a factor in that.
Maybe 1 or 2 more Yavimaya Coast as it can help cast Drowner and you could also try a Wastes for protection. I guess it doesn't feel like 4 Ghost Quarter is necessary and there are some other options available.
I played about 12 game 1s versus Affinity last night with Eldrazi & Taxes and went 7-5 I think, I didn't write it down for some reason. What I can say about the matchup is that I feel I am surprisingly favored and really only lost to nut explosive hands. Displacer and Strangler are very good in the matchup and my 1 Relic of Progenitus was always over performing.
I get that this was probably his first time playing the deck and it was cool to watch (I love all Modern content) but it was basically all misplays and bad sequencing.
Wow, did anyone see the latest 5-0 list from Modern League. He's running 4 Dark Confidant in Eldrazi & Taxes, that seems like a lot of life loss. I didn't even bother testing it originally because it seemed like a crazy idea.
It isn't:
While I do agree D&T needs card advantage I don't know if Bob fits this deck. First, there isn't a finks in the 75. Second, even with the 22 land the average cmc of the deck is 1.4 and it isn't aggressive/controlling enough to ignore life loss. Jund can run Bob because it actually has a lower average cmc(with more land, more 1 and 2 drops, and less 4 drops) and runs more life gain.

@iamkeatron: Nice W Eldrazi list. The mana base does concern me though. Only 22 lands with only 11 white sources makes me very nervous. I would run 23 lands with at least 13 or 14 white sources.
That is what has me concerned about my list as I want to run Sea Gate Wreckage and Tec Edge but with 4 Eldrazi Temple hitting 14 colored mana for turn 1 is difficult. I had to go up to 23 and cut 1 Tec Edge down to only a singleton to make it work in my list.
Mono white is a very different animal but Thought-Knot Seer, Eldrazi Displacer, and Wasteland Strangler are hardly dumb muscle. They all have quite powerful abilities that can easily grind out opponents are generate massive card advantage.
Reality Smasher on the other hand is mostly just a big dumb idiot.
I'm interested in your inclusion of Trading Post and Thopter Foundry and was hoping you could explain how you've been grinding with them and how they've been working for you?
First, glad to hear you're enjoying the deck. It's a lot of fun and provides tons of options to fit your play style. Here are some of my initial thoughts, nothing negative just my personally experience in the Meta I see. Good Luck.
My recommendations:
COP Red and Leyline of Sanctity are both just worse than Monastery Siege against burn, in my experience. COP is huge mana sink (Skull Crackable also) and leyline can't be searched out. Siege is very taxing on their mana and fits a disruptive game plan.
3 Detention Spheres is a lot by any measure when Abrupt Decay is so prevalent it has become premier removal.
Squelch is probably too cute but you can always main a shadow of doubt.
Love the 2 Damnation I did the same thing and then ended up replacing them with 1 Verdict.
I always play Darkblast when I can but I switched to disfigure when I added snaps because it kills Melira/Ana/Scooze/Guide/Swiftspear which are big in my meta now (obviously you can cast DB on your upkeep then dredge and cast again to kill an x/2 but it feels terrible).
Batwing Brume has always been a cute option but I am going to suggest Celestial Purge with how massively popular Grixis has become. It answers Twin/Tasigur/Keranos/Blood Moon/etc, it has become quite good.

That's why I've been testing Sea Gate Wreckage as the 23 land so much. I was even goldfishing Mikokoro, Center of the Sea with Spirit of the Labyrinth
