    I'm using a not-too-old eMac 1GHz.

I've never really needed a PC for anything (besides perhaps Magic), so there really isn't any use crowding my hard drive with windows junk.

The only game I play often is called ClanLord (a mac-only MMORPG). I also sometimes play some other games, but not enough to sway me one way or another. The only thing I really would like is to get my hands on some good music composition software, but other than that, Macs are great.

::hums "Anything you can do, I can do better..."::

    Macs are great!

Anyway, welcome again, and if you want to play on Apprentice or MWS sometime, I'm your man. Just drop me a line on MSN.

Pehaps - once I find a good Macintosh program (I'm just the minority in everything, heh) to use.

Eh, I've been lurking, mind as well "out" myself... (wow I'm lame).

I realized I was gay around the time I was 13. Of course, with the way the world is, I quickly repressed all thought of that and convinced myself that I was completely asexual... and stayed that way until about Junior year of High School. I came out to my friends that summer and they all were great with it (of course, they were all girls - why didn't anyone think I as gay? None of them guessed, of course, they all had crushes on me..) thankfully. I didn't come out to my parents. My sister told them.

Storytime! I knew a gay guy in high school (one of the very few there, at least that I knew of) who lived up the street from me. He was in my grade, but was friends with the younger sister of my best friend, and so of course he eventually found out about me. He worked with my sister (who is younger than I) at the local greasy Pizza Hut, and I'm sure he told her (since he had a crush on me too). So when my incredibly stupid sister gets herself pregnant at 17, bad things happen for everyone. When she finally got the nerve to tell my parents she was pregnant, she immediately followed it up with "Oh, and Evan is gay" (I was at college at the time) to apparently keep my parents from just freaking out about her.

    Fun.

It took my mother a while to get over it. Lots of crying (or so I've heard) and all sorts of "Oh my god my son is going to get AIDS and die." ::shudders:: My father took it in stride - the eternal optimist, he just keeps it in the back of his mind that I'll eventually turn straight. ::shrugs:: He apparently knew some guy who was gay in college, went out to California and came back with married to a girl... god he must've known some screwed up people.

So yeah, now they're mostly ok with it. They had better be, since I'm living with my boyfriend of 15 months (today! Geeze, I didn't even realize it).

I hear horror stories about other people and their coming out experiences... ick.

    Oh, and casual rocks!
