My deck isnt exactly meant to be aggro, Im just wanting to have a vampire out every turn so I can transform my bloodline keeper ASAP. Early damage makes it far easier to end the game with my deck as well, as I can just send in all my vamps once theyre boosted and unless he has enough blockers (or removal) hes done. Also, the decklist im currently playtesting has 23 creatures (4 stromkirks, 4 interlopers, 4 neonates, 4 rakish heirs, 4 keepers, 1 olivia voldaren, 2 falkenrath marauders) Add more removal spells maybe?
Hey guys, thanks alot for all the feedback. I want this deck to be as strong as possible, so if it isn't a vampire card then that's totally fine. I just thought that if it was a vampire card it would make it easier to transform bloodline keeper sooner. Stormblood Berserker is a great 2 drop but I think I'd have trouble activating his bloodthirst, I only have the stromkirk nobles to do so. Maybe Porcelain Legionnaire and Village Ironsmith would be good cards here? What do you think?
After thinking about my b/r vamps deck for a long time I've realized the weak point of the deck was what I would play on turn 2. I had a playset of child of night and a playset of bloodcrazed neonate in there prior to making a few changes, which saw me sideboard the neonates and scrap the children altogether. I put in Vampire Interloper for early damage but now can't decide what other spell to put in there. I was thinking distress but that doesn't go along with my intended turn 1 stromkirk noble, which requires a mountain to cast. What do you think would be the best spell to cast on turn 2 in my vampire deck, standard only?
This definitely seems real. Have you seen the Duels 2012 opening cinematic? Follows the exact same style as that video. I also doubt that this is an alternate Duels 2012 video because wizards wouldn't put in the effort to create that video and not have it played after the game has been released for so long. Also, the Lorwyn 5 probably wouldn't be shown in a Duels 2012 trailer as main characters, because ajani and liliana weren't characters until the first DLC in Duels 2012. Anyways I hope it's real, because that also means there's a possibility of a new Nicol Bolas card in 2013!!!
What do you think is the best way to make a B/R Vamps deck? Should it have lots of burn/black removal, or less of that to add more quantity of creatures? Should you have stromkirk noble as your 1 drop? What are the best 2 drops? Is Rakish Heir the best 3 drop? Anyone who is willing to think about and answer these questions, providing me with valuable feedback, would be greatly appreciated.
What changes would you guys make?
