You have a red werewolf primarily (mondronen tribe, tovolar), stayed transformed.
    green primary werewolf (krallenhorde),
black werewolf (leeraug), skaharra. (slightly more evil than the others).

Mullerornis is correct in there being a wasted opportunity. MaRo robbed me and many others of a legendary werewolf probably because of some perceived need for them all to transform, and thus design won out over flavor.

    From the guide:

Ulrich, a cunning and perceptive wanton who remains in the wild and runs with the howlpack even when he reverts to human form. (Krallenhorde)

The Mondronen howlpack is composed of around sixty werewolves who are said to control a dark, bloody magic of nature. Their alpha Tovolar is a mute, silver-furred werewolf who leads his pack on revels of carnage and howling songs, and who never seems to revert to human form. (Mondronen)

The Leeraug alpha is Skaharra, a black-furred she-wolf noted for her tendency to kill along bloodlines, murdering entire families in a single night while sparing unrelated farmhands and servants. (Leeraug)

I would garner a guess that the genitals of the vulshok are the same as with humans as well, I'm not sure how they would reproduce.

Sexually, it would create much chafing during intercourse due to the lack of ability to create lubrication (unless, of course, their metal parts have the ability to behave as ours do). That is if parts are metal.

If their parts are not I would assume that they are able to reproduce, being that these humans are somewhat mutated and from the same 'seed' race. But it would likely be very risky, and very low rates of pregnancy actually being able to occur.

I'll give jace a primer at least, although we all kinda agree he's meant to be all nerdy and magic player-ey.

In Steve argyles art of her she has freckles. Ginger-style freckles. Unsure in other two pictures due to obfuscation. I hadn't actually considered a mixed-race background for her but that only really talks about skin color in that way.

No, that's a different dude. This guy takes the art at photoshops it and makes it slightly different. Different person, different eBay seller. He took argyles alter and sexed it up.

In terms of cards taken, I find it hard to believe he stole his art considering that each artist is printed on the card. They get commissions. You guys are saying xx stole x, how about you link to said deviantart? The card?

Because it seems like people feel the need to go on a crusade after someone says "a witch!!"

Well heres a generalisation you can now make. Basically anyone with red hair is Celtic. Hallstatt tribes diaspora circa ~3200bc ---> Thrace area, Pontus/turkey, spain, France, Ireland, And general immediate area spreading out from a core of mostly Austria. It's fascinating.

Our spanner in the works is the Tarim mummies, dated to 1800bc. It is entirely possible that a group of celts who reached as far as the top of the black sea interbred with some of the Afanasevo peoples who (or their descendants) settled east in the Tarim basin on the edge of the taklamakan desert.

The biggest problem with that hypothesis is that simply the true ethnic identity of the tocharians is unknown (proposed candidate Afanasevo) and they may have simply evolved on their own without the influence.

Finding true description of facial characteristics of Celtic people's is hard. Compare with tocharians description after finding.
    Thoughts?

    GU self mill Dka/innistrad.

stole his ghoultree, proceeded to equip it to inquisitor's flail and make it unblockable that turn (utilizing an artful dodge I milled while setting up my outs).

Then I collected first prize at the fnm.

about a year ago I had some toiletries in my bag for when I was going to the gym heavily. Shampoo was the culprit here. FNM comes, and after trades I accidentally put one of my binders in upside-down, and discovered to my chagrin what had happened when I got home.

I lost about half a set of innistrad, rares, mythics etc. Lucky It wasn't worse. On the plus side, those cards had incredibly healthy hair.

    Quote from Seidon
Not sure Sorin Markov is based on Russian culture. In fact, Russian culture and folk lore lack a conception similiar to a 'classic' european vampire - a thing that is immortal, bloodthirsty and has the attitude of a noble man/woman. While his face in the illustrations does look slavic, he is probably Bulgarian or Romanian.

As for Sarkhan, his facial features, body build and skin color reminisce of european race, not mongolian.

Well, after investigation into sarkhan, discovery on mtgsalvation wiki says. that his name is slovakian for dragon.

The moustache gets a few people, i think.

We have 3 cards that properly depict him.

as well as his planeswalker images...

now from there we should continue.

You've got thracians too. I think we have to simply go by facial features from here, but with chandra we could have:

    Gallic
    Pict/scot
    Polynesian
    Thracian
    Tocharian
    Ancient Xinjiangians (Tarim mummies)

From here we simply go by facial features. Tan can be natural or through exposure to uv radiation, which certainly would make sense for a red planeswalker. She might spend days in the sun.

But indeed they ARE ethnicities. And this thread is starting to derail. Back on tracks please. Our point is simple.

Currently we are unaware of the relative ethnicities of Chandra, koth, And a few others.

I feel like I want to paint garruk as American due to well... Roids. But examination of his comic may reveal more about him.

Jace, tezzeret and elspeth also currently elude us.

Some are definitely hard to pinpoint, if at all.

I'm sad to discuss it now. I was initially dismissive of the matter quite simply because they don't print magic cards AFAIK in any languages in africa.

    from the wiki:
English, French, Italian, Chinese Simplified, Portuguese, German, Spanish, Russian and Japanese.

I'm treading around the point because I don't have a lot of knowledge about africa save for egypt (I mean historically). But I'm certainly ok with touching the topic itself. I just didn't want to lose face, especially in the first thread in a long time that's getting some intelligent discussion, and that's across a few forums.

In either case, where do you actually start with koth?
