When M15 rotates I will actually be tempted to buy a lot of enemy pain lands. They are low on the modern totem pole currently because they have been reprinted several times more than there allied brethren, but give it two years and they will be somewhat sought after again.
There really is no set of lands that enable the eldrazi quite like them. That with coupled with no coreset and plane specific names makes then highly unlikely for another standard reprint. The chance that we are ever going back to Dominaria is really slim.
I'm currently sitting on about 50 of these duals and was wondering where they may end up? I have an idea that when SOI stops being drafted they may spike ever so slightly. The UW one has already spike to nearly over a tix. I guess that is after some spirit tribal hype.
I disagree with the idea that revealing five cards would be better. If that was the case it would almost always be better to take the three card pile. This makes it much more engaging as you have to think further than just what pile has the most cards.
I can easily see wastes being 3 - 4 dollars in a few years. They are unique, hard to reprint and plane specific. Definitely has it in it to become expensive. They are especially sought after by edh players who want to build colourless commander decks. It was such a pain for the longest time to get a colourless mana base, but now these solve your problem.
I think it will not be long before we bemoan the fact that BFZ did not also have wastes.
Yes, commons today are printed to death. It's possible that a 2016 common could end up at a buck or so, but with more aggressive reprints (*MA series, aka the new core sets), I doubt it. Smash to Smithereens was an expensive common, and then it got a reprint. Now there are a million of them.
It may very well be a expensive common in the future again. Current supply will eventually dry up again and then these may very well go back up.
According to Canadian feminist he is the devil incarnate and not even the widely discredited testimony of the two purgers(?) could convince some that he is not a rapist. His accusers blatantly lied under oath and still some people cannot believe his innocence. It was even said that her lawyer betrayed her own gender for defending a clearly guilty man.
He was somewhat of a corner case in the whole idea of internet mob mentality. Sorry I thought this made news in the US as well. My bad.
EDIT: I may want to add according to some internet feminists. Maybe the feminism you see on the internet does not fit with the feminism you get in the real world.
The first step to casting a spell is to take it from where it is (Usually the hand) in this case the graveyard and put it on the stack. SO yes you are correct you will have a chance to respond to the casting of the spell. It just will not be in the graveyard when you have priority to crack your crypt.
I think you are hopelessly deluded if you think that a country as religious as the US has law makers that " CAN'T consider what it means to a religion when it makes law..." I think that there are a fair amount of religious politicians in the US who base what laws they support solely on there religious views.
To think a politician cannot base his morality on his worldview is ridiculous. A politician really only has his constituency and his conscience to guide his actions.
If you are Canadian you probably cannot not know who this Ghomeshi fellow is. I saw this video today where his lawyer speaks out and found it absolutely brilliant. I must say that the interviewer still defends the women who committed purgery shows his clear bias.
Are you a Izzet Mage? Do you like to play burn spells? Do you like to draw cards?
If you say yes to these things maybe this is the deck for you. This deck focuses more on the madness mechanic and is less prowess based then the other UR tempo thread..
So lets see where we stand on the cards that are available to us.
Seeing as the first few weeks are looking like it is going to be heavy on the token makers of zendikar. two Radiant Flames and two Displacement Wave is going to be worthwhile to main deck> I'd probably run another copy of both in the side. Dance with Devils is also probably going to have to be in the main as another good way to deal with eldrazi spawn tokens.
Lightning Axe is going to kill a lot of green mage's creatures. We are just going to have to figure out what enablers we are going to run with it. You would probably pair them with a full set of Fiery Temper. Two Fiery Impulse should also be correct (We could add more depending on what percentage of the meta runs Jace.)
Draw Spells seems like 4 Catalog plus maybe a fifth copy of Artificer's Epiphany. You would probably also want a full set of cantrips in Anticipate. It will help to smooth out draws.
On the creature front. The best creature for this deck would be Jace, Vryn's Prodigy. So definitely play the full set if you have them. Looking further than the next three months Stormchaser Mage is looking like it is going to do a lot of work. Insolent Neonate seems solid.

I just don't see the spec bearing any real fruit. I don't know what deck really needs it that much.
There are actual staples that do not demand that price.
Standard will definitely be more interesting when this hits.
Bloodbraid Elf @ 2.99
Seems good. If the unban it in modern which they may then it is not hard to imagine you making a couple bucks on each of these.
Animate Dead @ 0.99
Hard to see these going anywhere but up.
Cabal Therapy @ 7.99
Pretty good deal
Dualcaster Mage @ 0.99
Good casual card.
Toxic Deluge @ 5.99
Excellent commander card. Has seen eternal play and will also be likely to go up.

Counters seems like a playset of Clash of Wills and Broken Concentration with duple negate seems reasonable.
