In my experience the "Frog in a Blender" approach is very fragile in this format. Without effects like Call of the Herd, to provide resilience, or Flametounge Kavu, to recover board pressure, I found that this type of deck just folds to minimal Resistance.
So if the plan is to just crush their skull before they can stabilize maybe we can run Simian Spirit Guide and Reckless Charge. Both cards help keep the clock fast and Reckless Charge has the added benefit of providing additional reach if they do stabilize.
I'm playing with the idea of having a cube follow a 11C:3U:1R ratio to mimic booster pack distributions. Keeping the power of rares to a level where they are exciting but still not auto picks is a fun little challenge.
The problem with Duress is how bad it is against the popular all-in aggro style decks.
The best I can recommend is to assume the control role in the matchup. As Deaddog you should be able to grind yourself into the midgame and get yourself into a position to clear their hand with Raven's Crime or Okiba-Gang Shinobi. From that position youe only concern is being able to stop a topdecked Atog, for which you have no removal for on the spot, followed by a topdecked Fling.
4 guildgates and 4 karoo lands is too much of a liability. Especially considering the amount of splash damage you will encounter from people trying to wreck the manabase of post decks.
-Sylvok Lifestaff
-Artifact Lands to help smooth out the three colors.
-Extra synergy with Brainstorm
-Relic of Progenitus
-Pyrite Spellbomb

Europe has an established peasant metagame.
These have all been successful for the French.
Now find a win condition, Ulamog's Crusher maybe, and a quick, reliable way to sculpt what you need.
*EDIT*
Gifts Ungiven is what made those deck hum. I just can't see this approach being any better than Tortured Existence / Spore Frog Decks.
Assault Strobe
Preordain
Delver of Secrets over Wee Dragonauts.
Also, 8 CITP lands is too slow/vulnerable.

What's your deck do when you don't draw Channel or fall behind in life enough to not be able to use it off of a top deck?
