@Kami - (devil's advocate time) How does your view change, if ETR meant to signal that the scum team was: You/Tubba/ETR/Tau and not ETR/Tau/Tom/Whisper/Rhand?

Right but then your looking at a four man team. If you believe that I'm scum, and this gambit was a town gambit by Tau, I would have been missing someone from the original post listing my allies. Unless you believe that the original list was my scum claim in which case you have to believe that I was lying about that since you were in it.
Basically, I don't know how you can believe this is true and not have the scum team be Me, Tubba and Kami. Honestly I don't know how anyone can believe this is true in the first place but whatevs. The numbers don't add up either way you slice it.

Even before I knew about Tau's Gambit, I hated how you evaluated the game during your catchup, lots of shade and I did not like how you discredited people's reads of me especially before even knowing why
How you handled the situation was honestly poor imo, and 99% time you have to die, regardless of your alignment

This is the only correct course of action now. The reactions - particularly from EtR, to a lesser extent from Tom and Wisp - make me believe Tau hit the jackpot. Tom and Wisp are just tone reads. EtR has an implausible explanation: going along with a claimed scum neighbor, then sending a signal - which they "messed up", but which also just so happens to also actually match the real requested signal.
I'm 80-90% on this being a successful Tau play, in which case I am certain it's the most powerful Mafia play I've ever seen.
Can you point to specifically the reactions from Tom and Wisp that make you think that? Or me for that matter? You've made the most boring blanket statement possible here.

So turns out I messed up the signal anyway. KA and Tubba were the ones I meant to signal. Hence the 2 not 3.
Thank you for bringing that up. My thought was that Tau should have questioned the number I provided if he is not scum. If he is town and I claimed 3 is that a reasonable number? My leaning was 4 total that's why I only named two others.
@EtR Can you go into more detail? What were your plans for this Night phase? What were you going to do this Night phase had we lynched a member of Mafia who wasn't in {Rhand/tomsloger/Lastwhisper}? What would have done had I played along for a couple more days? Or saved one of your "scumbuddies" in a very scummy way? Did you think my claim was a scumtell, nulltell, or towntell?

You would know I was lying about them being scum but it wouldn’t prove anything. I could be scum lying about who’s on the team or town. If they did flip scum, I’m not sure. Didn’t think that part through.
My real plan was just to watch and see what you did with the info. If you started to defend people I named as scum I would out you. If you didn’t change your play I would continue to watch and wait.
I took the claim in the chat as null, in game as town leaning.
It wasn't the only one, I was just on mobile and it was easy to reply to. I didn't like Kami's or now Tubba's as well.
