4x Snapcaster Mages would be amazing in any Burning Vengeance type deck! With this many spells you might also want to consider running 4x Delver of Secrets.
After thinking about it for a while I decided to scrap my Daretti deck for now. My issue offhand is that it doesn't feel like there is as much deckbuilding freedom as I had originally thought I would have with it. There are variations in builds for sure but it still feels like there are just a lot of core cards to the deck to the point where it feels like there isn't a lot of room for personal choices.
I like Daretti as a commander but at the end of the day I consider myself to be a deckbuilder and a deck where I see no room for changes gets old to me so I am moving on. Best of luck guys.
Failed joke, apparently. HAARP is the government orginization which studies the weather and conspiracy theorists like to claim is trying to control the weather and turn it into weapons, among other things.
But yes I run 2 decks which have hinder, crumple, and warp and I think on the first two counterspells the draw was to counter a commander so I will be switching them out for cheaper counterspells like Mana Drain/Arcane Denial/Counterspell.
this made my day.
OT: not sure if it will workout as they hope...
Should have said cheaper converted mana cost :^)
But as they say the best card in mtg is the credit card.
After reading some of the responses here I feel like this is my position on the matter:
Not a good rule change not because of how much sense it makes (because I agree its a sensible change and goes with the spirit of the game) but because of the consequences of doing it. Now a lot of cards went from very good to "too good" in my opinion and I'm not a fan of banning many cards to support one rule change. I'd rather have the ability to play with a ton of fun cards that are very powerful but can be answered (and therefore not built around 100%) by a tuck card.
I really hope they relook and revisit this change before banning a lot of the cards that are now too powerful.
Chaos Warp is still a fine card, I mean theres not much in red that answers everything. I will keep it in my ol' Daretti deck. The biggest loss is the counterspells though :/
Lmfao I always end up chaos warping my own stuff for *****s and giggles

Planning on getting rid of hinder/spell crumple in favor of cheaper or alternative counters? Perhaps hallowed burial might not be so good after these changes either?
