Yeah I feel every ones pain. I live in South Korea for now (I teach in a Korean school- but that is another story) so I download raw every week. It is getting to the point it is not worth it to download raw. Even my wife can tell the product is going down hill and she only kind of watches it. Tonight she commented and asked me if the reason Stone Cold and the rock are coming back is because they are afraid Wrestlemaina is going to suck. lol. I told her yes. At this point I might not even watch Wrestlemania.
Don't get me wrong i love magic also i got the international travel bug really bad after visiting Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia last summer. no doubt I will get the bug worse once I visit Greece, Turkey, Egypt and Jordan this summer.
The card references No Mercy. The creatures in the globe are the phyrexians and Urza's crab bots that appeared on No mercy. The castle is Tolarian Acadamy.

This is why China allows NK to exist. This is why nothing will come of this. America and ROK dont want to fight the DPRK because that would mean war with the PRC. And the feeling is likewise, the PRC does not want to fight the US and ROK even though they don't like the US having troops in ROK, Japan and Krygzstan.
I started with fallen empires so BB legends cards were still pretty common. Anyways I played a red deck and i had a Legends version of The Brute on one of my creatures (i think it was Goblins of the Flarg). My friend disenchanted the brute but I paid and regenerated the enchantment. because that is what the card said.
i don;t know what every one is talking about trashing entire sets. No matter the outcome, all three sets are probably about 50% the same. If Mirrodin wins they will include more Mirrodin cards, if Phyrexia wins we get more Phyrexian cards and if it is a tie they will do even amounts. I mean its not rocket science and its not like they don't have TONS of cards that they have made that have not seen print, including art that is in the infamous "graveyard". I mean take a card that was meant for lorwyn but got cut and change Kithkin Cleric to Cat Cleric, or better yet take Thunder spirit and print it as a Bird or gryffion.
Mario/Wizards said they gave the shocklands generic names so that they COULD be reprinted in the future. They never said they were, just that they could if they get a block where they make sense. Its the same with the future sight cards, they can reprint them if they make sense but their is no guarantee that they will.
Were you asleep during the Shards block as well as Zendikar? We're now officially two sets after Shards.
That said, I like it. So what if it isn't T2 material? It's great fun in casual!

Are you aware they make more cards then see print and that some times they like a card but for what ever reason they have to cut it from the set?
I have a hunch that they made this card during shadowmoore/eventide but for what ever reason it got cut and now that -1/-1 counters are back it gave wizards a chance to print it.
