On the Merfolk: Ue to be playable. I think that they have gone extinct.
On the equipment: I always have the same questions. Like one time, I had a swiftblade with 4 shukos, 2 loxodon warhammers, and a Jitte. My opponent asked, "How can he hold that much weaponry?" I anwsered, "Very carefully."

What about penguins? Could be the perfect chance to intergrate them into Magic.
Also, the name ColdSnap implies that the ice is breaking and that it's warming up for Tempest. So the idea that Merfold couldn't be in it for that reason doesn't make sense.
i like the idea of a few penguins but they should count as a bird. also coldsnap takes place before ice age!
Im crossing my fingers and toes that we will get a new thallid or two in [DIS]. They brought back thrulls in guildpack so it could happen, at least i hope so. what do you think? could it happen?
