If you want to play a competitive singleton 100-card format where Strip Mine/TC/DTT are banned, there is a free entry/sponsored tournament every Saturday on MTGO.
Reminder: Do NOT "comment in" Amonkhet cards. If the Gatherling is updated tomorrow then you can play them. Otherwise, they will not be available for this event.

Lowman and S&R tease me that in order a to build a deck I add these 39 cards, add 38 lands and then the other 23 is the variations between my decks. Of course, there is a high degree of truth to that.
I don't have Caryatid, Advocate, Tracker from lowman's list. I certainly have played them but not in every green deck I've ever built. I disagree that MotWH is a worse Poluk; it doesn't take mana to activate and can take out more than one critter.
Hi Lowman, thanks for your thoughts on Sea Gate Wreckage. I used that card today in my Shops deck and I liked how it performed.
Can I ask you: Do you think that the card Den Protector is strong enough for our format? I know she is a good card and I respect her, but I can't help but think that in our format, only the "best-of-the-best" cards can be played, the cream of a massive crop given the size of the card pool available to us. Is she good enough?
Does anyone else have an opinion on Den Protector? Is she good enough to make the cut in our format? I used to play her, but I have now taken her out of my green decks because there are too many other stellar options in my view.
I would play 8 Den Protectors if I could. Sometimes you DP a Witness and have repeated blockers. Or you get back a Wasteland or whatever other reason that EW is good. Sometimes he picks up a Sword and bashes face.
March 18th & 25th- CMS 3.23-24 US players: this event starts one hour later, 4:30 Eastern Daylight Non-US: This starts at your usual Standard time
April 1st (NO JOKE!!) CMS 3.25- Worldwide: This starts ½ hour later than it does in the winter. 4PM EDT specifically and XX:00 not XX:30 generally.
TIME CHANGES AHEAD !!
The starting time of Tribal Apocalypse is now just 2.5 h before Chainsaw Massacre( instead of 3.5h ), this is only the 2 weeks, we have different 'summer times'. This week is Pure in tribal, so I expect only 3 rounds and that we could start punctually afterwards. However, if necessary( because Tribal did not finish) we would start 15-30 min later.
For all non US players: event start would be 1 h earlier in your local time! Sry, it's really complicated.
So, I think it's best to start 1 h later, anyway! This way nobody misses the event through the early start or because he is still playing Tribal.
I change the start now
OH it's so confusing! US players will start 1 h later 4:30 PM EST, all other players will start at the same local time as usually!
A few notes on RDW 4CMC critters: I don't think you want more than 2 total; I only run 1 4CMC critter in my deck but I vacillate on which one it should be: I think specifically in the critter department at 4 mana nothing is better than Hellrider or Hero of Oxidridge. Battlecry is a heck of an ability and the ability to get around 1 power critters is often more relevant than you'd think when folks are playing timely reinforcements and lingering souls against you, or eslpeth tokens, etc. However, I tend towrd the Hellrider, because it impacts the stack before combat math is done, which has often been the determinant of many games for me while running this deck due to a resolved card that has lifelink and it tends to compliment burn spells better this way. I tend to agree with stsung, I don't think heelcutter is good enough and I tend to avoid running more than one critter at the 4CMC spot, because I think RDW needs to be the best at what it's supposed to be the best at: efficiency. The 2nd place version I ran of it had an average CMC of 1.83 (the Gatherling math is wrong FB is not a 6 drop, and riftbolt is not a 3 drop, realistically). I think in the four spot you want one of the two critters I mentioned (but if you're running hero, you may also want to look at running a higher critter count than I do, I eventually cut this one because my build was only about 33% critters, and frankly I wasn't finding that by the point I could have cast either of these cards they were actually hitting the opponent, which just made the hellrider better, because he and my team could suicide in there, and I could burn over the top of them).
PS--Rob, I think Hanweir Garrison is also a strong consideration for a Boros build, it's not as quick, but when you're comfortable using more of your burn to keep the board clear cards like this become a lot more viable, plus the ability to play all of the battlecry (mechanic) cards ever printed makes this duder a lot better--I wouldn't try to run its combo land; that combo is just woefully inefficient and loses to so much.
Here's what I was running:
Hellrider - what lowman said
Murderous Redcap - rare source of card advantage
Flametongue Kavu - would cut if metagame changes
Avalanche Riders - fine even if you don't pay the echo
Hero of Oxid Ridge - Was not running but will. Undecided if I'm cutting FTK, AR or a different card altogether

I think Sower is an easy main deck in 2c Simic and MonoU. There's only so many good ways to bounce their critter. Sometimes you just have to take it

Hanweir Garrison is certainly worth consideration
