MTG Salvation

2 parts,
1: I see you have fauna shaman, but wouldnt it be practical to run Survival of the Fittest considering its a swarm deck and ppl will more than likely board whipe u just to save their own skin.
2: Along the lines of SotF and Fauna Shaman, ever thought using Squee, Goblin Nabob cause i know that gettin a free creature tutor a turn definatly sounds right in theory, though never tried it.

So, two thoughts. One has anyone used Citanul Hierophants for mana ramp, if so how has it performed. Thought 2, anyone thought of using Kismet to slow players down, it has been DRASTICALLY effective against my group and also has allowed for me to have crossroads on the field recover from a board whipe in flying colors and smash a player out b4 they can so much as get a creature that is untapped on the field.

Also, another side note, has anyone thought of useing Citanul Hierophants as a mana ramp, if so how did it go?

P. S. I am new to the forums and do not know how you guys are linking the cards by their names, if someone would be kind enough to PM a link to another spot on the forums that explain it , or just explain it i would greatly appreciate it.

And just a quick thought, you said you dont like the angel of dispair thought .... but have u looked at it in the sense that your running a sac engine (your general) and your running mimic vat.... turning the creature into a 3 cost .... which is equal to vindicates cost. and you can do it at EOT of someones turn, attack with it your turn, and then sac it down to buff vish kal, all for 3 mana at eot so no mana outta pocket on your turn... seems synergetic to me. Just my thought.

Have you ever thought of using Raking Canopy for anti-flying, as well as using champion's helm for a token power toughness boost and hexproofing rhys?
