Black has always had discard (well, blue had it for a while, but we're talking standard). Nice Mirrian crusader, but my Despise gets around protection. Distress doesn't see enough play IMO because most people can't afford the double black when black was a splash to begin with. I currently play blue/black and I find it to be a great control deck. Black can either go kill creatures, discard their hand, or swarm. Yes, with the new set, sward will be viable. (Gravecrawler, anyone?). So far, Gravecrawler, Diregaf Ghoul, and Vampire Interloper seem like the stronger black cards on the low-end of the scale. I think we've got to see the rest of Dark Ascension to judge Black's place in the format.
From the way I understand it, they create a replacement effect. So it's if you would do a instead do b. Since they replace any and all coins you flip, it seems like you would have infinite coin flips and basically a loop. I was going to flip a coin, but now I'll flip two. Thumb number two triggers, i'm flipping four coins. Thumb one triggers, i'm now flipping eight. And so on. This would go on infinitely until the loop is broken.
If I have two Krak's Thumb on the battlefield for legitamite reasons (such as Mirror Gallery), what happens when I flip a coin? How about three, four, or more?
Yes it does. The copy effect is applied first, turning the Scion into a 4/4 Skithiryx, then the +10/+0 boost is applied after that.
That is incorrect. The Scion's abilities will go on the stack (first Skythiryx's copy, then the Steel Hellkite's, going by what the original poster said). The Hellkite transform will resolve first, turning him into a Steel Hellkite. At this point the controller may activate Steel Hellkite's boosting ability, putting the ability on the stack as many times as you want. Assuming that they all resolve, you'll at that point have a Hellkite with +X/+0, and the transform ability still on the stack. Once the transform ability resolves you'll now have a Skythiryx with +X/+0.
Tokens are considered objects - which means they're not considered cards. Leyline of the Void would not exile it. However, for normal cards, Leyline sets up a replacement effect, which means the card never touches the graveyard.
The ability checks that the card has the supertypes 'Legendary' and 'Creature' when using it. So long as the said card is a Legendary Creature, it can be targeted by Karkaras.

Furthermore, if you played Azure Mage with a Heartless Summoning out, you wouldn't be able to use its ability, because it would immediately be put into your graveyard as a result of the state-based action of having a toughness of zero or less.
This thread is really, really popular since I've last checked it! There's been a massive update. We need to start taking out cards, i'll post the rules for that in a second. If you want a card taken out, you need five other people to vote to take it out. Every vote that it should stay in cancels out a vote to take it out. You also need to post your reasoning as to why you should take it out. I'll start the voting list:
Krosan Tusker (No real synergy with this deck)
Trinket mage (No real synergy)
Galvanoth (Not enough Synergy)
Darksteel Ingot (More powerful spells to ramp in green)
Fierce Empath (Searching out a creature to your hand doesn't help much with Intet)
Wildfire and Destructive Force (Seems narrow and even unhelpful most of the time)
Guided Passage (Narrow, you'll never get what you need, and even possibly bad. There are better tutors)
I run the dungrove variant. I usually takes two turns onxe you get out an Elder and a Titan. Elder usually becomes 8/8 to as big as 11/11 the turn they die.
Dismember is really good because it gets most of the format. Go for the Throat and Doom Blade are too limited sometimes. Even with titans it's still better. Wring flash just isn't good enough. Disfigure was playable because it gave -2 to toughness. Dismember is also a combat trick against wurmcoil. It weakens it so they only gain 1 life, yet not enough so that it kills it and gives them the tokens. Also, tribute, while amazing, is too easily foiled by inkmoth nexus.
Radha doesn't really do anything special for me as a commander. I mean, yes, he's a ramper, but he's not really doing anything that, say, a Cultivate couldn't do. Maybe if you used a different general, it would be better...?
With all the tokens floating around, I think that mosswort bridge seems good.
Warp world seems like a pretty risky card. Having them shuffle their lands and Titan into their deck only to have them pull out a few planeswalkers and perhaps some of the better Eldrazi doesn't seem fun. It's too risky altogether.
I recommend, instead, Green Sun's Zenith. In a deck that likes creatures, Zenith seems pretty good.
