I'm gonna have to try this deck out myself now.Posted in: Articles

Against weenie/token decks I could just never connect. So why not add Brawn? Yes, you might be sad if you draw him, but we only need one in the graveyard for him to be relevant.Posted in: Articles

Now. If the Mothership would actually load.
Why not just go for the cheaper Elite Arcanist+Silence during an opponent's upkeep to lock them out? Go a UW shell similar to the old Venser/Mnemonic Wall/Silence lock. You could even mimic that combo with Conjurer's Closet/Archaeomancer/Silence
I will say that I voted for B though.
Boros Charm and Rootborn Defenses say hi back. Ratchet Bomb will always be a problem with tokens, but that's why splashing white is worth it. Plus, at the end of it if most of the tokens the bomb blew up were from Young Pyromancer, then you've lost no CA since they were free tokens.
I'm thinking he meant our junk buddy Sin Collector, which then yes they would be quite similar. I can see a surge of junk resto decks surging before rotation with a choice of our zombie for the mirror/gw decks, sin collector for control/flash, and centaur healer for aggro. All pretty effective blinkable 3 drops
You would be correct. It loses its equipment type when you activate it's 0
I'm gonna assume he's referring to Blind Obedience affecting opponent's artifacts as well as their creatures, which I just noticed Imposing Sovereign does not do. Hm, that's quite a bummer actually. At the moment artifacts haven't been much of an impact in standard, but who knows what'll happen in Theros and how much of a difference that will make between the two cards.
Teysa and The Council would like a word with you.
Hopefully there wont be too many of those. If anything this card is made for a WW aggro deck, and outside of those few times when Blitz wants to block this won't be slowing them down too much.
Also, while it is sad that our Zombie friend comes down a turn after VoR, you're going to outrace VoR damage wise w/intimidate, and usually you're going to grab that Thragtusk or Resto Angel that was going to come down next turn and cause the real trouble.
I'll take 30 of them in foil; I should have a dollar lying around here somewhere.
Also Wizards! I want my red hate card! I don't want to get my hopes up, but with all the other ones being quite strong(Witchstalker to some extent) I can't help it.
