I have a bant proliferate deck with Angus Makenzie. Lot's of planeswalkers with doubling season, copy enchancement, and all the fun artifact and blue proliferate cards.
I found a seller online back in 2004 that was selling FBB Italian Revised Starter Deck Boxes for ~250. I bought 3 of them and out of the 30 starter decks i pulled maybe 10 dual lands. I sold my entire collection in 2005...including beta mox sapphire and beta ancestral recall. When i got back into the game in 2011 I was shocked to see how much the prices had gone up...especially the FBB duals
FBB 4th will not have any duals. It's only availlable in Japanese, Chinese, korean, spanish and Portugese. There's white bordered 4th (again no duals) in italian, franch, portugese spanish, japanese and german. http://www.magiclibrarities.net/sets-fourth-edition.html
Revised was printed in both balck and white borders in following languages: German, French and Italian. Fbb cards and French wb have 1994 copyright and wb italian and german 1995. http://www.magiclibrarities.net/sets-revised-edition.html
Foreign revised is not scannable, as the boosters have the metallic layer inside, making checking the rares impossible. But it's normal to get 3-6 basic lands in the boosters as with english revised.
If you get boxes for cheap, it's a good deal, but outside duals there's not really many money cards (fbb Mind Twist and maybe five others can be sold to recoup some value). In a box (36 boosters) you will get 0-4 duals, with the average being around 2. Boxes are selling around 2k$ range and the value of opened cards is around 200-500 $. Loose sealed boosters are availlable in Eu for 59 €.
I would gladly buy a box at 1k, but not to open, as selling it sealed gains you much more. If you want to open packs anything over 500 $ is too expensive.
For foreign 4th edition, bb cards are cool, but not worth much. If you can find korean or Japanese boxes at reasonable prices, they can be resold, but opening them is a loosing proposition, unless you paid under 100 (japanese)-150 (Korean) $ for them. And any other languages are even less.
As an interesting point, portugese fbb 4th edition packs only have 10 cards, with rare only in every third pack. There are also basic lands in the packs, meaning that there can sometimes be only 2-4 nonlands in the entire booster. I almost ran a draft with them once, but couldn't get enough of the boosters to get one going. (I had 24, but that's only 15 nonland cards for each deck, meaning you would need to have 40 boosters.)
If you can get her to alter one for you then you'll see a huge gain in value. I had one altered about 10 years ago and paid $50 to have it done. I sold it when I got rid if my collection years ago. If you find an altered one I've seen them sell for $500+ on eBay. How I wish I would have kept that one card
I can vouch for Psychosis Crawler. This is the best deck i've found for him. I cast prime speaker with crawler in play then bounced zegana to my hand with riptide lab and recast..I had copied the opponents reliquary tower with my thespian stage. Repeated next turn and then time spiral'd.

I ran Godsire for a while but I found that there were other Mayael targets that had more utility. The only time I found Godsire to be good was when Seedborn Muse was one the field or if I had haste ability on the field. I try and have every Mayael target be useful the moment it hits the battlefield without it having any assistance.

I will have to consider Loyal Retainers but wouldn't dumping into the grave Kozilek or Ulamog shuffle the graveyard into the deck before you had a chance to do anything? Also I would run Reya Dawnbringer but I found it to be too expensive to cast without it being able to be a Mayael target.
Nope. The shuffle trigger goes on the stack and you're able to respond by sac'ing retainers. I did a lot of searches on and this was the consensus from all judges.
Loyal Retainers has been amazing in my build. Dump a fatty like Kozilek or Ulamog with survival/fauna while Retainers is in play and if you have a way to give them haste (slayer's stronghold) you just beat face. I did this on turn 4 with land ramp involved.
Can also search for and dump Raya Dawnbringer too grab retainers. Good recursion after that.
has anybody seen the black version of the life counter on ebay? I have 2 arsenal's and both have the grey. did the black come with specific versions or is it just random?
I'm looking at building a similar version with more legends, loyal retainters, and hua tuo, honored physician. I really like this build and will borrow quite a bit from it
