Where's Skullclamp? This a format where its legal and Skullclamp is one of the most brutal cards for a weenie rush strategy (and well... Any strategy).
You could do well with upgrading your equipment into the Swords and Jitte, but that is helluva expensive. Grafted Wargear is one of the most underrated, awesome equipment around. Lightning Greaves would be another awesome addition.
I think you should focus less on equipment that gives evasion but brings better damage and have your creatures have evasion already built-in. I'm a big fan of Frenzied Goblin because it cheaply negates a blocker, which is especially important if you're facing a slower deck that has more defensive measures. Being able to negate their best blocker is key.
Yeah, it is a little disappointing that M13 didn't bring anything to the table.
I am not fond of reliance. Akroma's Memorial was in my stack at one point but was cut. I also had Lightning Greaves when I ran Godo, Bandit Warlord, which was better in some ways. I eventually cut Godo because he was too slow and there wasn't enough equipment, only Tatsumasa, the Dragon's Fang was good enough to stick around. Nim Deathmantle is a new addition because of the potential combos and I'm only seeking out Batterskull because it comes with a critter that dodges a lot of removal.
You play with a lot of Sorcery-speed Removal, so I can see Akroma's Memorial being a house. I'd prefer that over Fires of Yavimaya due to the whole slew of abilities. The only suggestion I see is adding more Instant-speed Removal, because otherwise people are just going to keep laying down Sorcery-speed answers to threats and not go anywhere. By being able to kill EOT and then play your own threat, you're pushing the game forward.
I never liked the White component in this deck, so that means I'm swinging this axe crazily.
Gisela, Blade of Goldnight is White. Vote to remove.
Tamanoa is cute I guess but is White. Vote to remove.
I already voted against Personal Sanctuary so I can't do it again. Sad face. Though technically the OP did a wipe on votes so I have no idea what that is or what the precedent on that is.
Mirari's Wake is White. Vote to remove.
Sterling Grove is White. Vote to remove.
If these get removed, we'd have a much tighter deck and New Frontiers would do something with the extra amount of basics we'd have.
You really need to get rid of your situational counters. "Counter target creature spell" really sucks when they play a non-creature spell that wins them the game. You're playing classic control. The first 19 points of life are resources to buy you time to win the game. You always need an answer or you lose.
I also like Urza's Armor, as it'll stop the pain. Cancel vote down.
If there were one deck there you'd want Citadel of Pain, it would be this one. Four copies is not a reasonable amount, I don't want to see two of them in my starting hand. I'll up-vote to 3 copies, someone can do that merging thing that I don't understand if its worthwhile.
I don't believe that the cuts are good choices, but I won't subtract them while we're this close to the cutting phase.
If your goal is to get Blightsteel asap, why do you have Contagion Clasp? Repulse would get rid of the opposing creature and dig deeper into your deck to get the Blightsteel out.
The best way to improve your decks would be redundancy. Instead of running twelve different cards, run three playsets.
If Tezzeret is the only reason why you have blue in your artifact deck, you need to expand for more blue or cut him out completely.
But this is only if you want them to really improve. If you don't, then play with whatever. Or choose a format, such as Commander, that makes you only play with one copy.
3 Coffers is the Magic number. See what I did there?
I don't know how old you are or what your financial status or how long you've been playing Magic, but there are simply some cards that you need to own - whether it is by trading or buying. Cabal Coffers is one of those cards. Counterspell, Llanowar Elves and Swords to Plowshares are some prime examples.
If Magic is something that you take seriously, those would be superb purchases. If its something you and your friends have just discovered in High School and like to play around - then just play the cards you've got.
Vote against Meditate. Its not quite what we want. If we miss our turn, we might miss the opportunity to deck ourselves for the win. We're not playing Stax or a combo-engine like that, so I don't think Meditate is that great.
I already voted against Hellcarver Demon. If these two get voted out, we have our 60 card deck.
Cheating 4 permanents into play isn't godly?! I'll keep a close eye on it due to your skepticism. It could just be a card that's in due to "fun factor" like Helm of Obedience. Helm isn't that good, but because of the random, fun factor it'll probably never hit the chopping block.
Why couldn't anyone kill the Pestilence Demon or prevent/redirect the damage? I guess my play group is different. We don't go for a draw. Its either a win or not at all. Hell, they might not even activate the Demon if it doesn't kill everybody else. Eliminating one or two players usually isn't that worth it because the Demon would tend to die from his own Pestilence effect.
Also, the times someone thought they had a win with the Demon or Thrashing Wumpus only to die from redirect, prevent or life game is fairly impressive. You wait until the last trigger from the Pestilence Demon kills it and then you cast whatever you need to survive. Your opponent can't put an infinite stack above you anymore because the Demon is dead. This is why I see the Pestilence Demon more of a two-card combo with Glarecaster, Eight-and-a-half Tails or Combat Medic.
Anyone know when the unfun-drazi (is that the proper nickname) will be rotating out? I think some of them out make solid additions, but the $15 $20 (that jumped up...) price tag on the three big guys in a little annoying.
I agree with the Probe. We aren't trying to ramp up a Storm count.
Leyline of Anticipation is a singleton and doesn't really add much to the overall deck. Vote to cut.
A single Brainstorm doesn't do much of anything. Vote to cut.
I dislike Credit Voucher. It distills the desire to win. Vote to cut.
I don't like the Hellcarver Demon. I also think it dilutes the purpose of the deck. Furthermore, sacrificing permanents kills out Maniac win-con. Vote to cut.
I don't think Library of Leng does that much for us. Vote to cut.

Tinker would be your best bet. Also, run Seat of the Synod and perhaps Darksteel Citadel.
