Reverberate would be a good sideboard card against Bant Control or just any deck in general that uses Sphinx's Revelation. It's even better if you run Syncopate in your deck because you can copy theirs, draw into a Syncopate, and then counter it.
Back when UR Delver was first successful at Las Vegas, It ran Chandra's Phoenix. Phoenix was a hasty, flying threat that could generate inherent card advantage.
Really good concept but personally, I think you have too many 6-drops.2x of your 6-drops need to go. You also need to have Phyrexian Metamorph in your 4-slot. Metamorph is too good not to have somewhere if your 60. I'd probably take Solemn Simulacrum out as well. He's great card advantage, but he's too cute in this deck. Otherwise, a really good spin on the Brad Nelson Zombie Pod deck.
I've been playing a more Entreat the Angels build up until last week of GWB Token Control. The deck had some moderate success at FNM's sometimes it would wreck my local meta, sometimes it would bomb out. Last week I played this version and it pretty much went uncontested all day.
Round 1: U/W Humans
This match-up was pretty bad for him, one ramp and then Day of Judgement was pretty much the agenda of Games 1 and 2. One game I pretty much went Entreat for 4, then next turn played Elesh Norn. He was at 22 at the time.
Round 2: Battle of Wits
Game 1: It was pretty much Draw-Go for this game except for a little ramping from me until he dropped Battle of Wits and I didn't have an answer for it.
Game 2: Game 2 was much more in my favor cause I dropped Turn 3 Garruk and then turn 4 Sorin. I was also holding Beast Within the whole game just for when he dropped Battle of Wits. He scooped after a couple turns of Garruk/Sorin token generation with Gavony Township backup.
Game 3: This was a pretty back and forth game with both of us generating tokens, but I was more in the driver's seat with an active Gavony Township until he ran out a Jace. He got me to 24 cards in my deck until I answered it and he soon scooped after that.
Round 3: Goblins
Game 1: Not much to say about this one. I got run over with a turn 3 Bonfire when I had just played Lingering Souls. He then commenced to play Cheiftain into Krenko and I didn't draw a Day of Judgement to stop the onslaught.
Game 2: This was kinda funny cause I went, turn 2 Emissary, then turn 3 Emissary, he was almost forced to bonfire. I then dropped a third Emissary. Then I played Elspeth and then Lingering Souls to get far out of burnout range. He scooped.
Game 3: A much closer game cause He was able to get his Shrine up to about 15 counters. Fortunately for me I had an Elesh Norn along with Sorin and an active Vault of the Archangel and Gavony Township to keep me from being burned out by it.
Round 4: ID
Round 5: Naya Pod(This was the quaterfinals of Top 8)
Game 1: Not much to say other than I stumbled on land and didn't get to play a Day of Judgement to save my hide from 4 duders and a township.
Game 2: Was able to ramp up to Elesh Norn and neuter his Thrun. Viridian Emissary and Lingering Souls stemmed the tide long enough for me to drop the elegant lady.
Game 3: This game down to a race situation where I had 4 Lingering Souls tokens that were Townshiped against his Thrun and 2 mana dorks being backed up by Township and Kessig Wolf Run. I had a Gideon in my hand and was able to keep him from alphaing me for the win.
Overall a great deck. I don't think I would make any changes to it other than to make it not so soft to Zealous Conscripts. Elesh Norn is an absolute house in the deck and Solemn Simulacrum gives some great value. I don't think I would feel comfortable taking out Rampant Growth either.
An idea I had for the deck was Smallpox. you might would have to run a different base of reanimation targets and mana ramp but it's an idea none-the-less.
This is a version of RUG that I've been messing with. It's almost a mix of the 4-Color Control deck and Wolf Run. I also kinda stumbled upon a card that can almost completely hose the spirit Delver decks even if they get like 3x Drogskol Captains in play. Pristine Talisman/Stoic Rebuttal just depend on if you want to try to go that route and give your Galvanic Blast a better to get Metalcraft.
I would probably replace the incinerates with Arc Trail if you were going to. Incinerate is well costed for the dmg it does and it's an instant but Arc Trail can give you a two for one in a lot of cases.
This is a list that I came up with after looking at one of Conley Woods' Deck Doctor and getting some feedback from some friends of mine at my local FNM. One reason I don't like Snapcaster in this sort of deck is, sure you can get some value out of him with your spells but he can't win you the game on his own the like the rest of your creatures can. In U/R Delver he could cause he could get back Brimstone Volley and such, not the case with this kind of deck.
And the synergy with Gavony Township is a plus as well.
then you could use mind grind to mill them out.
