Splashing Green gives you a major edge in the mirror thats mainly why you do it.
Pack rat and specter dont fall under 'solid 2/3 drops?'
Wait, i don't know why i responded as you're clearly trolling
Lol, ok. Anyway, pack rat is awesome but most run as a two of and night veil leaves something to be desired as it dies to almost everything and does nothing when it ETBs or dies.
I've played B/g devotion extensively on modo and I feel that while it is viable, I don't think it can compete with mono b until the BG scryland comes out. At that time, id also expect to see a solid 2-3 drop for mono b and hopefully a b board wipe. I'd also expect some more b hate cards so who knows what will happen.
anger of the gods is a card. They only usually pack 2 rats afaik. I run mono black on modo and most times a T2 Husker beats my face in for a few turns.
If a consistent T3 Ruric off Garruk is possible, then doesn't this deck need to lean more towards a best down version? T3 Ruric deals with DD if you don't have chumps to sac.
The biggest problem I see is the reliance on an insane amount of mana dorks that turn into horrible top decks. IF Primeval Bounty were playable, it makes those top decks slightly less awful...
Also, no Anger of the Gods, even though it nukes 13/20 very relevant creatures. It deals with them perfectly. I would expect a resurgence of RDW or R/x would handle this current setting.
Looking at this list, GR seems positioned well because they can run 9/20 cards on this list and still hit curve. But how did decks with these cards end up ranking?

As far as I know, they only post the top 16/8 decks.
