Did I not tell you there are many ways to make different borders? And many ways to make borders of the same type Kekeke

Remember, play with blending options and colouring - making a white or black border and making it overlay can be the shiz if it's done right. And it's simple. Muck around - you'll get the hang of it.

About the sticky: You get one when you have ten requests. I've been too busy* to count; someone else want to count for me? You probably qualify.

    *Lazy

Damn, I count 8 requests and 6 completed ones. 2 are still open. Keep an eye out :p one more page and we should be in.

Caboose: I'll try get Karn in there now, I'll see how that works out and then you tell me if you like it. Then I'll tell you how to put it into your sig.

    OMG Someone commented.

Yesh, I should've put borders on >_< I realised that after I posted them. Btw, how do you actually add a border in Photoshop? I usually save it as a .jpg and put the border in in Paint. >_<

    Cool, thanks for your comments.

Well, there are many tutorials. But a simple 1px border is this:

Make a new layer on top of everything. Hit Ctrl + A. Go Edit > Stroke. Set the width to 1px, choose a colour and make the location inside.

For a fancy trick, you can make a 3px stroke of 1 colour, then a 2px stroke of a different colour and a 1px stroke of the first colour and delete the line between them. That looks pretty sweet, and it's very simple.

Hope this helps; search around for other tutorials though, you can get so many different border styles it's not funny. It just takes practise and experimentation.

    ok, will do Kekeke

BTW, Why aren't you stickied (yet)?

I wonder the same thing myself. I guess we're not quite up to scratch - I can understand that. Maybe another page or so should be enough to convince them. Thanks for the compliment though :p

Karn, Silver Golem... No need to thank me Kekeke

Ha...I knew that....maybe. I'll get onto it tomorrow, becuase it's almost midnight here and I have school. Damn that sucks.

Also, can we have people requesting one-image banners? I really think Willy's damn good at those (yes, he still works here) and it would be nice for him to get some requests to work on. Please? Kekeke

    JoInTsMoKa

EDIT: Also, Wessel, if you don't mind putting a link into your sig for us. Thanks...:P

    Ok, since you're asking....

Borders work very well. Even if it's just a 1px black border, it gives the image a limit and keeps everything contained. If that makes sense. It just makes the sig look more professional.

Other than that, not bad work. Just work on different borders - be creative with them. Kekeke

Actually, I really like the guild banners. The whole thing with 2 blended images and the cut-out in the middle is pretty cool. Makes for a neat focus concept :p

Ok, did come up with a cool idea. Kekeke

If it isn't appropriate, I shall remove it.

That, coming from a Kiwi. Not something you hear everyday.

I'm unlikely to enter this week...lack of time (dammit) and I can't be bothered thinking of something fancy for an Xander style. I've found staying within the border limits is boring now - and I can't think of anything that doesn't stay in the border limits. Oh well Smile

I made it jpg? My bad - I'll make it a PNG and post the new link up now. Other than that, is it any good?

EDIT: Fixed! Here's the new link.

I like what you have but is possible to have Karn in there, if not that is ok. Let me know until then.

Karn? I have to ask what this Karn you speak of is. I'm at a bit of a loss :S

Ooh, I have something to add....I have Grand Arbiter Augustin, I had to cut it our for an avatar earlier today...it doesn't have his cape though. Simply because I had to cut it off to fit it, and I would have had to do some mean heal-brushing to make it a whole cape.

<removed because of jpg file type - new one below>

It's not the biggest (like that Serra Angel...damn you Nex) but I still think it's pretty good. Someone can add in a cape if they really want to :).

Sorry about being so slow on it, but I finally got some work done. Caboose, I've got yours with a Weathership and one without - I really think fitting 6+ images onto a banner makes everything too cramped. Let me know which one you like and if you want any improvements.

I'm gonna try have another one done by tonight, I'll see what I can do.

Hi! I would like to have an animated avatar of GAA moving up and down, left to right (however you want it), like it's actually hovering... Thanks in advance...

Question, do you want this hovering on any background? Or just hovering in your avatar space? Personally, I reckon that would be pretty cool if it just hovered where your avatar would be. I can do that easily enough. Let me know.

EDIT2: Well, I've got it on the background. I think it's quite cool myself, but I'm not the one who's using it :P.

That's the best I could do with the limited filesize and dimensions. 40KB is too small, I swear....anyways, hope you like it. Save the image to your desktop and upload it from there.

Hey guys, I just need an avatar for another forum site. I'd like a 64x64 image of Mirari. Thanks in advance.

Question, do you just want a still avatar or the moving one CD made you but reduced? I've got the static one now if you're interested.

Caboose, yours tomorrow. Wessel, not sure if I can do yours...I'll give it a shot. Expect me to know by the weekend.

I'm sorry everyone, but it has been a week, and you guys said like a day.
I'm gonna have to take my request to another shop.
    Thanks.
    Drak.

I realise it was so long, I should have said something. I apologise for the inactivity, I've had the worst week ever, and now that CD's decided to go and leave...that's made things worse. And not as hgh demand? W barely have high demand, compared to other places...oh well. Your choice....can't win em all.

SAC, I recommend you take yours elsewhere, simply because I've taken too long and to be as creative as you want takes more time than I need to get creative juices flowing.

Mirari, I can do yours in a few minutes and Caboose, I can have yours done by the end of tomorrow, if not the end of tonight. If I can flash through 3 essays I have to do, I'll be sweet.

Sorry to those who have been waiting, hope you get them done =)

Hi Everyone, could you make the Avatar I requested on the page below?
    Thanks all.http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showpost.php?p=1105808&postcount=252

By oblivion, I presume you mean nothingness? I can do this tomorrow easily (I think), just want to make sure I don't get it wrong.

Also, Revamped, I can probably get yours done sometime tomorrow. Hopefully I can get enough spare time.

er... yeah. do that one lol.

Well, I can't say I ever have seen that cartoon....background check! Kekeke

Also, is this an avatar or banner request? It's just that doesn't seem like the regular banner request...unless I'm deeply misunderstood.
