Source? I do not even see that deck on my radar right now...if anything, it is Bant Flash that is winning some of the Standard market share using tokens as the main offensive force.
I can't tell if you're continuing the sarcasm or missing his...
I see Bomb as more of an answer to BTE than tokens.
I tap to the right, but only 45 for attacking creatures. That's so I know when one is affected by a "frost" effect (Frost Titan) or perma-tapped where it'll be tapped the full 90.
this literally made me laugh from the ignorance. yes, control is more thought intensive than "turning dudes sideways". with control, you have to know WHAT the threats are. Contrary to popular belief, not every card that is whirlwind slammed on the table is a threat to control. So saving your counter for the right spells, along with bounce for the right creatures is crucial. unlike with aggro where you dont give a crap if your dudes die or not, cause for every one that dies, another 3 pop up.
Why did WotC change that formula since the first Ravnica block? What was wrong with lightning helix as it was? Or, why could warleader's helix not have cost 1RW, making it deal 1 more damage and gain 1 more life for 1 more mana over lightning helix? Would that not have made sense?
Because Lightning Helix is rare, while Warleader's Helix is uncommon?
The lead designer does not design every card in the set. Every set has bad cards. "Dragon's Maze has bad cards" somehow equating to "Alexis Janson is a bad designer" smacks of misogyny and double standards.
I also don't know how you can pin the bad cards on the lead but not the ones you like.
Hah. Being called a mysogynist just because I said the lead designer, who happens to be female, dropped the ball is funny and reaks of you being sexist yourself.
I was going on the design of the guild champions being misses except a couple. It is the job of the lead designer to make certain the design for each card is sound. It's like saying that the foreman isn't at fault that the building fell down because he didn't piece that wall together himself.
So... now not only do we have the keyrunes at 3 but these rocks as well. I know that fixing in limited is needed, but with this much it's almost like they're gearing up for Theros being even heavier into multicolor.

Love the sideboard rule change though.
Yes. Yes it did.
Oh, oops. Reading is tech.
I thought Helix was a rare, which would've made the cost adequate. So, you are very correct.

Limited powerhouse for sure though.

Goblin is awesome though.
Beast of a card.
They've fed us Thragtusk steak so now everything else tastes like Vizzerdrix-on-a-stick.
I'll be the first to admit it.
Interesting card. Could be decent sideboard tech in Standard.
