I wanna play it as a 3 of in my U/R Burning Vengeance deck, it's no longer grixis because this card can get rid of the black splash for Forbidden Alchemy. I love this card early though against Control because you can pitch any sweepers that might not be good against control, but will give you advantage against aggro when you need a sweeper.
I think I'd rather play Grixis and use its card selection and manabase than just do U/R
With an Image MD and another Sphinx SD. Works out pretty well for me. I used to play with Rune-Scarred but he just seems to slow and I'd rather see any of the other threats I run over him, even if he is a free Tutor. Toying with the idea of putting a WSZ in as well due to instant speed and how insanely well it pairs with Elesh.
I'd rather Think Twice/Leak/Doom Blade vs playing looter on turn 2. If you want a 2 drop that draws you cards, play Azure Mage. Looter just doesn't really add much for what you'd have to take away to get it.
As of right now it is really outclassed by Titans and a lot of things. In a world without titans(Hopefully post scars/M12 rotation) she could potentially be playable.
Thanks for te advice. Do you think I should main ghost quarters for inkmoths or moorland haunts?
Definitely Ghost quarter. We only have 6-8 creatures so keeping an opponent off Kessig/Inkmoth/Gavony is much more important than creating 1/1 fliers from the few amount of creatures that will be going to the graveyard.
A lot of people play Commander. They make FNM promos for every format because FNM is played by a wide array of people and I'd say a majority of FNM is draft not standard.
Something like that, maybe cutting a Darkslick/Catacomb or 2 for Ghost Quarters depending how popular Wolf Run is at your Meta. I'd also reccomend running another Sphinx or a Grave Titan and only running Doomblade as your spot removal.
Add timely to the sideboard. You have 3 open slots so it makes sense to fill it with that. It really is necessary, I feel.
I tried running a single Elesh Norn in my main deck during the last tournament I was in. Pleasantly surprised by how well she performed. 100% won me a match on game 3 vs RDW that was coming down to the wire and stole a game out of no where when I resolved one with a hero/snap/spellskite in play and swung for 21. Had a Sphinx in the side for when she wasn't necessary but with how aggro heavy my meta and the meta in general is she is well positioned. Also thinking about throwing in a single WSZ in the main or side just for fun. My current list is as follows:
Going to have to agree with Past in Flames. I really think U/R will be a bigger thing later in the block to make it playable or like others have said; having it become broken in eternal formats. They are going for 3 dollars each so no reason not to pick up at least a playset.
I agree. Token versions don't have to worry nearly as much about it as the overrun versions. Token decks should worry more about lists running 4x Ratchet Bomb, and the solar flare/W lists that back up ratchet bomb with sun titans.
For the overrun lists though, CoDH is something that we should be prepared to deal with b/c it will hurt us a lot more. I am going to be running 3-of Witchbane Orb in my sideboard to help deal with this.
I don't think witchbane orb is worth putting in the sideboard for such narrow hate. CoDH is arguably less problematic for the overrun version because you are going to ramping and be prepared to drop Gavony counters or have a response dump of Mikaeus. The Overrun version just has so much more resiliency and consistency, I feel.

2 Lili + 1 Gideon MD. Jace in the side for control match-ups.

Mirran Crusader. x3 or x4. He is just so good against the meta and if you stick an Angelic Destiny on him it's pretty much gg.
