why, just why, abrupt decay, that can answer like 80 % of the permanents played in modern at instant speed and can't be countered is ok, but a counterspell, that cost UU, and only can aswer things in the stack is not..
O turn 2 tarmo,i dont have counterspell, i draw counterspell.. late.. / Turn 2 tarmo, i dont have abrupt decay, draw abrupt decay, kill it
Dont you understand that have to answering things in the small time of the stack and deciding what to counter is a drawback compared with thinks that can answer it at any moment when they resolves? you can wait just to see if they have something more powerfull to kill while with counterspell you take that decision at that moment..

I know this is off topic of "Money", but if I was interested in playing this format, what are some of the stronger archtypes as compared to some of the weaker archtypes? So far, all I've heard about the format is "Open money or get a bomb"
This isn't a hard to thing to fix.
Here's what my friends and I do:
"hey, the new legend rule is stupid, let's keep playing with the one that makes sense."
"I agree."
And then we play.
I assume the same rule applies here.
Also, other fun EDH variants to make the table more balanced
10$ EDH Decks
BDH deck (10 rares/mythics, 20 uncommons, 35 commons)
Or if you have enough people willing to pitch in, make a cube large enough to draft edh decks.
Really? This is a super frowned upon method of grammer.
Erebos' Titan would have been fine.
If you didn't have the connecting picture, I would never have believed that card was real

Umezawa's Jitte does nothing by itself.
You're in the wrong thread. This thread is for insulting people over twin decks in modern. Why would you think this was for discussion new cards?
How many of the commons and uncommons see more than sparse sideboard play?

Or Necromancy
If they don't reprint Counterspell, how are we going to get promos of it for FNM?
