The idea of a lot of the party cards seems to be "you you really want to have just one of each of us, but we have riders that help ourselves in case you have redundancy in one party slot."
I am sure that is helpful for gameplay purposes. But it also feels like a lot of tribal being shoehorned into a supposedly "lands matter" set.
I agree. I came back to Zendikar for Land Stuff, not a 3rd failed attempt at "Allies" again.
Ixalan is the better adventure world in my opinion.
Ixalan is Land of the Lost the set. This is inspired by D&D, they said as much, and this set feels fantastic.
You know, I think i'd be perfectly fine with Black getting enchantment removal from time to time but always with a cost attached. Basically overwhelming the enchantment magic with a power surge that causes some feedback.
A griffin / pegasus would've been more appropriate maybe ? I guess the thing is archons have hatebear-like effects, so it fits in a way.
This card can't be Recruited by the Guard, but has a role in Legacy D&T. Me interested.
Hmmmm, maybe there's a tempo deck that wants her? I'd kill for a Narset that is actually good(without just being a boring stax piece like 3mana Narset)Her character is freaking cool
I mean, I think I get why this is rare? Glare was a format defining card in its day, and I don't think I would want to see too many of these in draft. Cuz it feels really hard to love with this plus 1 or 2 other folks
It CAN be recruited Imperially though.
