Update: havent been able to build the deck yet. Also since introduction of Ashiok, Dream Render I am not sure should I rather use that version of ashiok here.
Also as for finisher I was reminded of Cut // Ribbons. Could be pretty decent here too.
Jeah I do ownBaleful Strixes (would just have to move them from other deck) and they would indeed be better than Dusk Legion Zealots in 2 mana slot IF i can be confident about the having access to UB.
Rakdos Charm can also exile a graveyard allowing me to get the exiled landos with Oblivion Shower. Then again I dont really like non-permanent spells. You cast Rakdoes Charm and what you get? Nothing. Then again it can wreck that Smokestack or wreck that token deck player... I guess having like 2 would be OK. I think I have few hidden under the fridge.
You also mention that Blight Herder would help me ramp toward big finisher... What is that big finisher? : D
Do you ever have nightmares about taking a shower? Soon you will!
The idea for the deck came from looking at a list of cards that I want to play, and Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver and Jeleva, Nephalia's Scourge have been on that list too long. I felt like they could be in same deck because they both exile stuff and fit to same colors. The final idea for the deck came when I remembered Oblivion Sower, a pretty insane card that should be able to give this deck strong enough mana advantage to win the game.
Deck will most likely include some mana stones, card draw and mass removal. We should also have some sort of mana scaling spells to abuse big mana from Sowers or the card draw should be powerful enought to make sure we can spam spells like mad. Ill most likely also have some cannon fodder creatures like that one vampire guy.
Games are often 4 player games, but can be 3-6 players. Deck power level varies a lot, but this deck doesn't need to compete with decks that aim to combo out or seal the game fast. I most likely wont buy any expensive cards for this deck.
