Oh no! I have spent my magic the gathering life here.
I came here looking for safe haven after I got laughed at for my terrible janky deck ideas on the official forums but I cam here and found a community willing to help me improve as a deck builder.
And through your help I have turned so many janky dreams into real decks
Thank you everyone :'(
Culling dais can help draw.
ichor wellspring maybe.
Get more artifacts
Hellkite Igniter
seems a bit stupid to use Kulotha forgemaster to get Liquidmetal coating but it can get Steel hellkite and myr battlsphere
Galvanic blast is a must have
Artilerise with Liquidmetal coating you can start throwing your lands if you are just short of victroy
Slag fiend maybe.
Molten-Tail Masticore maybe.
I.e I think it will work as a straight artifact burn deck with liquimetal coating tech
you bounce nevermore and select a new target
would force you to add blue unfortunately.
in black there is Life's Finale
I prefer Cobbled wings, but I guess Apostle's blessing can protect them.
Darksteel axe is cheap and effective can't be destroied as I have mentioned earlier in the thread it is my equipment of choice.
if you don't have a necropede out you can't re-equip piston sledge it is also kind of risky.
hits hard and fast.
If you get more artifacts Galvanic blast hurts
Signal pest is one of my favorite cards.
If you pick up a spikeshot eldar you might want some equipment for him
runechanter's pike for example
Grand Architect
Trinket mage
Silver-inlaid dagger
Darksteel axe
since you have architect I'd suggest 1 Caged Sun
I don't think you can even splash white without getting Oblivion Ring
Feeling of dread instead of frost breath if you'd prefer
Gideon's Avenger is a nice budget alternative to Mirran crusader but he is white mana heavy and you need to keep a lot of instants and sorcerys
Are Angels bird like enough?
I did very well in an M12 draft against much more experienced players (it was my first draft and I came third) with a griffin based deck.
I think building a W/U humans based deck but then using birds instead of Spirit's
Tapping down flying defenders with Gideon's Lawkeeper or Feeling of dread/Frost breath then pecking them in the face can work.
there isn't that many birds is there... the only other one I can of think of Roc Egg which has served me well.
Edit: well I looked at the birds at magic info.
hmm it seems like you would have to go artifact based if you were looking to use all the birds.
Screeching Silcaw and Glink hawk need artifacts.
MindShrieker is probably your most powerful bird you can use and it fits the milling theme.
you can use Glink hawk to reset Shirekthorn
and Thrummingbird to proliferate
i might play around with some idea's and see what I can come up with.
you have to go all infect artifacts and tempered steel is expensive
Thrun and consecrated Sphinx are not cheap.
Why think Twice? it is a bad card unless you are playing control and you don't have any counterspells (other than beast within) play Divination or Ponder instead.
is it only because it can be played from the graveyard??
[c*]card[/c*]... or highlight and use click the card symbol on the tool bar.
Skilsdrag high priest is your only black creature?
you seem to have an esper deck W/B/U. which begs you to play Solar flare I am not even sure why they call it that unburial rites and some big creatures.
oddly the black token generators are zombies moan of the unhallowed or vampires bloodline keeper
Since you have blue in there, Undead Alchemist ??
I think it would just be better off being W/U humans to be honest you have the cards for it.

From the budget section of the standard deck building.
Elf ramp or Myr Ramp, Instead of land search ramp it is quite a bit easier to disrupt but kessig wolf run is such a good card it easily makes mediocre decks really strong.
also great for killing off vault skirge
I have actually found use for it most of the time coming out of an artifact set and all.
I actually side-boarded in another 2 (in exchange for the natrualize which is for playing against white decks)
In testing it has been working surprisingly well...
Kessig wolf run is a fantastic card
you aren't using the flashblack spells so the ones you do use with stay in your grave yard.
what are you proliferating with Tezzerets gambit?? if you want to draw two cards divination or Think Twice
Dissipate > Cancel
the quickest way to get into the game is to buy an intro pack:
http://www.wizards.com/Magic/TCG/productarticle.aspx?x=mtg/tcg/innistrad/intropacks#deck1.
Most decks require a few rare cards that are the basis for the deck, the intro-packs are a nice start but you want to expand your deck out from there.
If you are playing Mono White
honor of the pure is going to be an important card
if you are playing Tokens
intangible virtue also going to be useful.
4X doomed traveller is a must he will set the tone of the deck.
4X midnight haunting useful card.
If you are playing White you can't go without oblivion ring
Geist- honoured monk suits the theme but will require you to try to keep a lot of creatures on the field all the time.
you are definitely sticking to just white, generally you pair colours together the best for White is Blue or Green.
Blue: you can use Gideon's avenger + feeling of dread can be quite strong for a budget deck. plus blue comes with counter spells and evasive creatures, Invisible stalker
Green: Unfortunately the best cards parallel lives and Gavony township are kind of expensive depends out much you want to pay. also gives you the amazing beast within, mana ramp, Day of Judgement + Fresh meat combo... etc.
