Wow, Golos is crazy. I'm thinking I can take my Karn deck as-is, make the commander Golos, and just add in one Cascading Cataracts for Golos to search up, leaving my all colorless utility land manabase intact.
I've also been thinking about Astral Drift decks (right now my idea is to use Drake Haven as a backup payoff). I had a casual Astral Slide deck back in the day and by far the most powerful card was Tilling Treefolk. Yeah, it's probably not powerful enough for Modern, but I just wanted to throw that out there since no one's mentioned it. Life from the Loam is probably better on most counts but obviously you can blink the Treefolk.
Also, is there anything to be said for Riftsweeper and Hallowed Moonlight? They're kind of like Processors but in our colors.
EDIT: Okay, Angel's Feather looks nothing like that. It looks very familiar, though! My other thought was Paradise Plume, which doesn't look right either.
Wow, a spell that does nothing by itself. Hilarious.
Also, undying and persist in the same set. This set is more ridiculous than Time Spiral and it's great. Menace, Deathtouch and Undying is also quite the combo. Makes your opponent need 4 creatures to kill it in combat.
Also, with the cycle complete, they really need to reprint Thornling with mirroring art!
Boo on that "up to 5" clause. I want my Chorus of the Conclave to make an 100/100 Double Striker goddamnit.
Is that really why it has that clause? It seems strange and unnecessary to me. Those types of effects (like Chorus of the Conclave) are very rare, aren't they?
EDIT: Okay, so having one other changeling in play does make this cost -1000 less, so I guess it's just a precaution.
4 Mana and not being an artifact is pretty awkward for this deck. It's no replacement for Grand Architect, and it doesn't compliment him, either. I really like Urza, but I think you'd have to make a totally different deck to make him work.

Yes! Though I guess Tornado Elemental fully encompasses Thorn Elemental's abilities, so there's not much to combine.

True, unless you count Garbage Elemental (version 4)!

I hope this is satire. I'm pretty sure it is, but if it wasn't, I'm not sure what you would have said differently.
On the off-chance that it's not, you know we have Survival of the Fittest on a Grizzly Bears with a more relevant type, right?
Where did you see these changes? I didn't see them in the preview article.
