So, for those asking about the Dragon Shields, the Coppers are in the same style as the Turquoise, but with completely opaque backs. The Fusions, however, are a strange amalgamation of the new and old style: they aren't quite flat, but not quite as curled either. They do have the old Dragon Shield toughness, something the Coppers and Turquoise slightly lack.

As far as reprints go, I've often been curious just what would happen if every non-reserved list card not currently in Modern were reprinted in a set and then brought into Modern. I wonder how Modern would change as a result, and if it would be a change for the better.
so you mean, exactly like Legacy except without duals?
Well, that's more or less what I wonder. I mean, it wouldn't be EXACTLY like Legacy but without duals, because there's much, much more on the Reserved list besides duals. But if everything that wasn't on the reserved list that currently isn't in Modern got a reprint, what would that do to modern? I have no idea, but I often wonder.

Gonna have to agree with "Play what you want to play." The idea that building a competitive, more successful deck is somehow not cool, not fun, or not fair is not logical. You know what I did when I was young and new to the game and someone who knew what they were doing absolutely trounced me? I asked questions. "What's in your deck? Why? Why THAT? Oh. What do you think I could do to make my deck better? Really? Interesting. Good game!" That's how one gets better.
i go with the opposite, a LOT of khans boxes will be opened, so wait 1 month after the release and then buy the fetchs
I'm going to agree with this. There's possibly going to be 1-2 of them that, because they are in the dominating decks, exceed the 10-12 range, but I am anticipating getting these for about $10 each after a month.
It amazes me how underrated this card continues to be. Perhaps it is the emphasis that most people have on Limited and not Constructed...I dunno. But while not as great as he could be, he is far better than most make him out to be.
Serra is a must. Freyalise would be a delight. Leshrac...oh, please oh please...? Please!
But if none of the above return, I am still happy. Teferi was, is and shall be my favorite walker. I have a secret hope he shows up in Khans. I mean, come on, time travel is involved...
I've heard these are FINALLY going to come out this month. What a delay! Still interested to see what they are like, but I haven't seen them available anywhere yet. If anyone spots them on the shelves at their LGS, shout out that you saw, even if you don't buy.
While I am glad they have listened to our feedback and responded fairly, it is still puzzling that they don't just do a mix of Standard and Modern with a smattering of Legacy or perhaps a few other "fringe" formats that they can try and mainstream. Nonetheless, very glad to see this.

For those not yet aware, the Dragon Shield Coppers lie flat in the same way the Turquoise do.
As far as I can tell, these still aren't available for purchase. If anyone sees them on the shelves at their LGS, speak up.

Fingers crossed.

My absolute favorite.
For fun discussions on Casual Magic, the folks who do Friday Nights have a great podcast called TapTapConcede. Always an enjoyable listen.
It's a smart idea for a reprint. I just hope it is a large enough printing that prices on the sealed product don't get jacked up.
