Only for one card, and for one type of card, at sorcery speed, while being dead versus control delirium decks. Shambles would be a good option in zombie token decks but not as an anti-delirium measure
It's worse if you're using it on yourself, but none of those cards can directly kill your opponent in a pinch.
*facepalm*
You need to do homework on cards like these.
2 life for draw 2 is nothing any card draw is a huge atvantage and you can draw the card you need for the win.
This is what black is about do whatever it takes to win.
Yes, we aren't arguing Black's slice of the color pie. We are arguing cost effectiveness. This is not a cost effective card drawing black card. It's worse than the previous alternatives we've gotten at the same rarities.
Well this is a nice addition, even if the flavor text is the most blatantly obvious one I've ever read.
"This is a cat because cars were popular in Egypt. Play this against delirium"
Thanks Capain Obvious.
Lol. And these cats don't even stop delirium due to aftermath cards counting as instant and sorcery in the grave! One artifact creature and one aftermath is all you need for delirium now and you could keep both. Now playing this card IN delirium might have it's merits...
Funny enough, with the release of this set, this card still COULDN'T turn off delirium in those decks.
That's some failed graveyard hate if that was the goal. If it was combating embalm, zombies and the like? Success
This is the second incredibly viable counter we got in this set. I could see this being run as a 4 of alongside our favorite *not voidslime* variant. Even with Mister Chief of compliance himself or Tezzy. Artifact control should hopefully be playful in standard
Mill isn't that common, playing this versus infect is about equal as her platinum cousin, and commander points you're right about. Except this isn't an artifact and susceptible to 2 different types of removals spread out across the 4 removal colors.
You can be drowning in 40 infect counters and you can still be alive with a platinum angel. With this one, you will die from each reset. The same with commander points and mill. It is too bad demonic PaCT is gone, would have been funny to reset yourself with that.
This is true, but being an artifact versus infect colors is always a problem. Platinum has a better overall effect, but is more vulnerable while this is bigger and less susceptible tof removal while having a marginally less powerful effect.

In a format of tokens, Copters and a need to remove walkers before turn 5 in 3 separate colors, you can probably see the desire for efficient walker removal no?
Do your playgroups waste removal spells on X/1 creatures? If anything, this guy is gonna eat a board wipe or die as a consequential side effect of things already being removed(Mass bounce, sweepers, etc). He's honestly pretty forgettable on board because he needs to sit around for 2 turn cycles to get any value at all.
Man. Ludevic just isn't what I expected. I can't really fight the feelings of disappointment here. I mean, yes, we should have expected a weaker than average effect because we knew he was gonna wind up with partner. But this just wasn't what anyone expected.
Garruk is represented by human form (not cursed)
Ob Nixilis most of the time is a demon form.
Garruk is mono green first pw. Why discard a classic pw?
Garruk is represented by his cursed form. Because that's the form we've seen him in classic years. Your initial argument was about gender but the gender representation on planeswalker is relatively even. But then you moved on to aesthetics? I'm a little confused as to what you're actual issue is with anything. We have Gideon, the typical brawny man, and Jace, the typical brainy guy. Are we at a loss for green planeswalker on a whole? Yes. Yes we are. Masculinity in the game is lost once we hit the first set that is headlined by a female cast, IGNORING that the very next set reintroduces all the main male characters, including some extra like Ajani, Tezzeret and even Nicol Bolas. Mostly female cast for 3 months and the world is coming down? Somehow Garruk/Ob Nixilis aren't in exactly the same circumstances despite being cursed in the exact same way by the exact same thing? Garruk got his own sethe, with his own cut out and his own Nerf product. He got the attention he deserved. And it would be great to see him again, I agree. But your argument is...incomplete.

Without Dromoka's Command around, stasis snare safely answers all those threats at instant speed
