You could consider Whispersilk Cloak. For fun shenanigans, there is That Which Was Taken, which is tutorable as well, albeit probably not nearly as good. Whispersilk is good at any rate to ensure your attacks go through to boot.
Oh and if you're really hurting for protection, keep 8.5-tails in. If he comes out later in the game, he can protect anything you want to spot removal with ease. He's really undervalued IMO.
Hmm, I must've missed Animosity. Yeah, that one's going in for the Assault.
I like Bushwacker because he can come out to play and immediately give Haste - it is quite possible to recover from a boardwipe and use him to grant me an instant victory. I'll give Wardriver a spin though.
As for the Prospector, I'm not too fond of constantly saccing my own Goblins mostly because there are enough times that they don't swarm as much as I want them to. Though the Kiki combo is fun, yeah...I'm just not sure if the off chance of performing that combo is common enough for it.
Sensation Gorger is fun yeah, I should find a spot in it.
Thanks for the feedback on Shinka and Shizo Crona, much appreciated.
I like Goblins. And let's be honest...who doesn't? So, I built a Goblin EDH, with Wort as the captain at the helm. And so, I present to you, my Wort, Boggart Auntie deck. Why the Auntie and not the Raidmother? Because I wanted to go Goblin Tribal and I figured that the Auntie supports that idea better then the Raidmother, also there are a few interesting Mono-B goblins around that the Raidmother doesn't have access to. So, here it is, Wort.
Sidenote: While this deck is built for Multiplayer, it can work in single player as well. It will need a few adjustments for the French rules, but given its aggressive nature, it should work quite well in that format.
As one can easily see, most of the goblins are hand-picked for either their ability to tutor up something, decrease the cost of other goblins, produce tokens or other buffs. There are a few small exceptions to this rule, but they are relatively rare. There are only four creatures that aren't goblins, Moggcatcher is in for its ability to tutor up a goblin. Not as good as Goblin Matron, but since it is reusable, it is far from bad. Solemn Simulacrum is just too good to ignore, and Red/Black can use the card draw, as minimal as it may be. Finally Taurean Mauler is strictly spoken not a Goblin but he counts as one, and he hits hard as can be. Oh and then there is Patron of the Akki, who can be gamebreaking with that +2/+0 ability of his, making the tiniest of Goblins suddenly a bit scary on his own.
The Mana Package:
A lot here has been made in such a way that I can profit from the huge amounts that can be generated by Black Market, who loves the constantly dying Goblins on the field. The Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth + Cabal Coffers combo is well-known as well. Often enough opponents drop down Urborg already, so all I need to do is say Thank You and drop my own. I did consider adding in Phyrexian Tower since hey, might as well ditch a goblin that Wort can pull back, but I'm indecisive about that. The two Gauntlets generally only focus on Red, to make full use of the boons Black gives in paying the grey costs.
Planeswalking: Chandra Ablaze is here for her -2 ability. This deck is highly able to simply ditch its hand on the field for low mana, so some hand refueling (Alongside Wheel of Fortune and Wheel of Fate) is highly desired. Her +1 can push through for some final damage, if I am out of mana she can ditch something that Wort can pull back, or just something that is of lesser use for the time being. Koth of the Hammer is a good planeswalker and generally at least gives me an extra mana each turn...but he doesn't really do much more usually. As such I am considering to swap him out for Sarkhan the Mad, who not only can provide some additional drawpower, he can also turn my Goblin tokens into Dragon tokens. Not saying Koth is bad but...I'm not sure he's pulling his weight. And on that note, Koth is officially out for Sarkhan. Sarkhan just allows for a few more cute tricks and isn't as big a target due to this not being a Dragon deck (Making his Ultimate quite useless), yet he pulls his weight well, usually getting two activations off before dying.
I could use any suggestion thrown my way. This deck is an online build, an offline build would have a cheaper manabase and might cut on some of the most expensive goblins, but the general idea will always be the same.

Fun one I've met on Cockatrice (Fortunately don't have bad RL experiences yet)
A 4 way EDH game involving me playing Azusa, lost but Seeking, and the opponent this one is about using that Red/Black guy who damages his opponents upon playing spells (Forgot its name). Due to the way he played he got mostly ignored in between the crossfires with the other opponents, so he was on 40 life and me in the mid-20's when it was just him and me. However, next turn I was sure to explode due to Primeval Titan's attack of this turn which'd fetch me Gaea's Cradle and Omnath was already sitting on a bunch of mana, along with Candelabra of Tawnos hanging out on my field. His field? Pretty much void of any board presence except his lands.
So anyway I attack with Primeval Titan for 7 (+1/+1 from Llanowar Reborn)...and I get the following messages from him, with me in between telling him to go to 33
NUHUH
YOU CANT ATTACK ME
I DISAPPEARED FOR YOUR COMBAT PHASE
I AM A COMBAT NINJA
NUUUUUUH
NUHUH YOU DIDNT
NO I DONT TAKE DAMAGE
He then proceeded to set his life to 35...did nothing on his turn, it got passed to me and I demolished what little field he had left and went to swing for lethal...and he just completely ignores it at first. He then starts saying that for every Green mana I get from Extraplanar Lens on my Forest, he gets a Black mana, which he wants to use for an instant-speed Exsanguiate...most childish opponent ever.
Been wondering about this one and couldn't find the answer, so here we go...what happens when I cast a spell like Endless Swarm while I have Maelstrom Nexus out? Will Cascade work, or does the Epic clause prevent it from doing so? And what about the later turns, as I re-cast the Epic spell?
Undying and GY Recursion (Geralf's and Gravecrawler) is annoying to deal with. The fact that they have several 1-mana 2-power drops make Stromkirk sad as well. So yeah, I'd devote some sideboard time to it, though I've yet to find the better combination of cards. Grafdigger's Cage seems more then reasonable here.
Stealing a grave titan with Traitorous Blood is waaay better than a burn spell. Traitorous Blood has potential. You can use it to squeeze the last few damage in.
I can vouch for that. They drop a fattie? Sure, I'll take that thus preventing it from blocking me, dealing well around double the damage that was projected. Have a Hellrider out and it becomes even better.
I have a RB build with the Aristocrat built myself, using Grim Lavamancer and Stormblood Berserker as the better Sac-To-Aristocrat options (Really its more like a modified RDW come and think of it) and one card I found to work absolutely hilariously with the Aristocrat is Traitorous Blood. Steal stuff, swing with it, sac it to the Aristocrat. Or just go for a finisher, whatever works. People laugh when they see it mainboarded. They stop laughing when their behind gets handed to them on a silver platter by it.
They could perhaps pull it off in a Heroes of Might and Magic way...which I think they're already kind of managing. In M&M, the idea is that the planet is a lost colony of an ancient race that had sci-fi tech and explored the universe. As such, some of said tech is still around albeit highly rare. So why would something akin to that not be an option, given the robots we already have prancing around?
Just a thought, but wouldn't Harvest Pyre work rather nicely with Mirror-Mad Phantasm? He can pretty much ensure your grave gets filled enough to work...and it's a hilarious card to begin with.
I have found that Shock, Tragic Slip and Arc Trail are pretty good at staving off early aggro. Later on, Olivia and Stromkirk Captain help curb Aggros tendencies quite well. Not perfect by a long stretch, as shown by the unpolished numbers, but so far, I'm liking this base.
Might want to find some space for Black Sun's Zenith, I found.
Actually, I'd think Bonded Fetch would be a fun reprint in this one. Given we already have something creating Homunculus tokens, it's not too farfetched to have an actual one in there is it? He'd be a fun card.
I'd like to echo the point of "Why is violence a-ok but a naked nipple is boo hoo hoo". For that, I'd like everyone to be reminded of GTA San Andreas. You know, that 16+ game where you beat up hookers, shoot everyone you want, cause massive death counts...but oh no you can copulate with your clothes on, 18+!!!!!
Yeah, that's kind of the attitude I'm getting here. While I can agree that certain points are creepy, I'd rather have my 8 year old nephew see a picture of a set of (barely covered) anime tatas then the art of, say, Sensory Deprivation. That stuff gives me nightmares and I'm 25. That's the thing in playing Magic, you know what you get. Fierce violence left and right, some sexual undertones (yet nothing too bad) with cards like Markov's Chosen standing out.
Compare Markov's Chosen with the average anime-themed sleeves or playmat. Is said sleeve/mat really worse then something we see on sanctioned products? Rarely. Sure, it can come over a little bit creepy (especially with the lolis) but really, live and let live I always say. The example of the first post of you kissing your boyfriend and that guy saying something about it? He was the typical example of a hypocrite, something that you sadly see a lot. And not to be generalizing too much, but the USA seems to be especially high on them, sadly.
Is it a bit creepy? Meh, sometimes perhaps. Is it that big an issue? Nah. Those of you saying you don't want your child's eyes exposed to them, really, take a good look at what you see everyday on the street and TV and see if that's really worse then what you're being exposed to at Magic tournaments.
