I am looking for more cycles similar to the M11 Titans in that there is one of each color, they cost a lot of mana, and they have big time splashy abilities. For those unfamiliar they are Sun Titan, Frost Titan, Grave Titan, Inferno Titan, and Primeval Titan.
Examples of other cycles I would say are similar include:
I haven't tried to cast multiple instants in combat yet but you may want to look at the settings and see if there is an option called something akin to "auto resolve the stack". In the previous games settings such as that one have caused problems. While you are in there also look for "simplified targeting" and "simplified mana".
Have you thought about going for x=3 so you can use hellraiser goblin? The goblin doesn't force you to put all your eggs in one basket like the lightning mauler + bloodthrone vampire combo does. It also means you can attack with multiple vamps and pump the one that doesn't get blocked.
These companies have to straddle the line between simplicity and security. The people have spoken and simplicity wins as evidenced by the rise of one-click shopping with no real authentication required.
If you are going the dead vegetables route then you may just want a few artifact creatures that are fairly cheap and can be salvaged then recast allowing you to spring vengevine from the grave for a huge burst of damage.
Glissa's old friends include Spellskite, Etched Champion, Solemn Simulacrum, Phyrexian Metamorph, and Wurmcoil Engine. WCE costs too much and Etched Champion probably won't achieve metalcraft very consistently. Spellskite and the sad robot look like they could fit into a dead vegetable strategy even though they are terrible on offense. The metamorph should fairly reliably turn into something useful; tarmogoy, dark confidant, kitchen finks, emrakul.
The biggest trap with Glissa is shoving a ton of bad artifacts into a deck with her just to take advantage of her ability.
A young, dark-haired devkarin is depicted on Jarad's Orders and Rites of Reaping. The lady on Rites of Reaping clearly does not have tattoos of insects on her arms and hands but it is unclear on Jarad's Orders. She could champion Jarad's cause of pushing the Izzet out of the Undercity and possibly further, judging by the depiction of the devkarin ambitions on the planeswalker guide.
I'm not really worried about missing a few uncommons, it was just happening so much that I wondered if there was something special about this set that I didn't know about. It does kind of suck that I only picked up 1 dreg mangler though, lol.

She also fits right in the green/black pie according to maro's article to kick off Golgari week:
Life and Death
2. unlock the type B cruiser
3. rampage over everything in the universe with 4 mantis warriors
@oneviet, You can still mill quite well in UB zombies with armored skaab and screeching skaab not to mention forbidden alchemy which mills and grabs your win con. You also have a few sac outlets in bloodflow connoisseur and falkenrath torturer which can combo with the diregraf captain to ping away the last few life points.
I can see a few other strategies at X=3 that utilize the hellraiser goblin.
You could try to attack with a bunch of hasty, evasive fatties like demonic taskmaster, skaab ruinator, fettergeist, stitched drake, latch seeker, and geist of saint traft.
You can also try to abuse ETB effects that render your opponent incapable of blocking like lyev skyknight and crossway vampire in conjuction with undercosted fatties like loxodon smiter and hellhole flayer.
The hard part is going to be surviving until you can cast X=3 while also filling your 'yard with 6-7 creatures.
I feel like this could work better in a jund shell. Green can ramp with farseek and dawntreader elk which is a perfect fit for this deck. Red gives looting options, especially faithless looting. Black is used for spot removal and the nice zombies like gravecrawler, geralf's messenger, and lotleth troll. Green and black provide self mill with mulch and grisly salvage.
Judge's Familiar would be a sneaky add to help protect against removal and aetherize.
Honestly this seems like a fun archetype, though maybe more suited for Modern.
