I really feel like the god of storms and wild inspiration, whose name I do not remember this moment and am presently too lazy to look up will be :symur:.
There are no real reasons for this card to get "vanilla" suspend. It may seem good on the surface because he's also suspending other spells but what gameplay purpose does it serve? If we give him a "complex" suspend then we'd be cramming him up.
It messes with your opponents head, giving them one last turn to make a last-minute opportunity to cast something without it getting suspended. It can force them to buck their strategy. It can reduce the casting cost for this little artifact monstrosity.
I like it having Suspend because it gives your opponent a heads up while also messing with their mind for a turn - they only have one more draw before everything gains suspend. It's a total mind^%#( and if it's fragile it just adds a whole 'nother level of slap to the face. It says, this won't hurt you, but it will annoy you greatly.
I'm under the impression that Ashiok transcends binary gender.

My Ruhan of the Fomri EDH coin-flip just got so much more choice.
I'd say Exalted, but we JUST had that.
