The idea isn't to infinite. My goal here is to build a deck much akin to soul sisters --Since it was already argued that it can't be done now, and I agree.
The meta around here is more focused on aggro. The only thing the deck really HAS to do is outlast the opponents threats. To that end, I think Serra Avatar MIGHT come out a bit late, as it's 7 mana..
So. My friends have challenged me to create a standard soul sisters deck that is at least somewhat competitive. I'm not allowed to use any cards that will be out of standard when RTR comes out.
I'm stuck with the staples:
4 Inquisitor Exarch,
4 Leonin Relic-Warder
4 Phyrexian Metamorph
4 Suture Priest
20 Plains
2 Divine Offering (My meta isn't artifact intensive. Probably taking this out.)
As you can see, I'm missing quite a bit of the deck. I have 38 cards, of 60.
So..suggestions?
I'm considering putting in some of the newer white token spells--Midnight Haunting and Gather the Townsfolk.
I wanted to make a samurai deck. I don't have too much experience with making good, strong EDH decks so I just threw together good cards and a bunch of creatures. It actually works well until the boardwipes start hitting. At this point, I'm looking for suggestions as to how to make this deck better.
The goal of this deck is to cast a bunch of samurai/humans, pump them up and start swinging REALLY hard. I have Emeria in there for some recur when things die.
