More on topic: I would like to have Inistrad pure, non-eldrazified. DFC has enough design space to fill a set without Emrakul, and dont forget that they WILL print new planeswalkers egniting on DFC. What better place to do that than on innistrad?

I agree, look at the surrounding, it seems to be a prison with blood-mud walls. Reminding anybody of the golden child? Film from the 80s. A bright might, a power of flower needs stained surrounding to be captured.
Why not just call this block Twilight? Awfull, just awfull. Forcing people to get new sleeves or use a stupid note-card? Well, I´ll just laugh all the way to the bank as Legacy prices rise while I own all the staples. I hope they will just end up banning all the double-sided ones like they did with ante.

If people use checklist cards, don't they still have to hide their "Extra Decks" from their tournament opponents, especially when the "Top 16 Decklists" haven't been released? Wizards says the way to use the checklist cards is like this:
So, if people are actually swapping checklist cards with double-sided cards, won't they need Extra Decks? Thus, if your opponent catches your short stack of face-up cards, won't they glean information about your deck? And how will tournament players hide the dang double-sided cards until it is time?
I'm rather concerned that it is easy to send wrong information at a tournament. You can easily let the opponent glimpse at some cards 'accidently' before sideboarding to distract him/her from your real moves. Will this considered as cheating? Or is it forbidden to let some doublesided cards lay around?
To strenghten the critics: I don't really like any of the mechanics. They are so top down that there cannot be more flavour, but still it seems a bad idea to get double sided cards. It just fights all my intuitions that grew over the last 15 years.

The flipping seems complicated, plus, will it be guaranteed that all creatures of the night will have the powerup at the same time? It would be very annoying if it is night for some and day for some other creatures. But wizards are probably clever enough to get this checked.
So much flavour will hopefully get me on the boat sometime, but not yet.
The window behind the mayor seems to be the same that the Alpha jumps through - for me thats a hint that both are the same "person". Maybe you get for each day-card a corresponding Token in the very same booster?
My bets are that the Nephilim play a major role then. They were so odd, they somehow have to make sense at least when Wizards can't ONLY play with the hyprid theme anymore (which I expect at least). Didn't someone on Wizards.com latey regret that tey weren't legendary? I tellya they will be important.
