I mentioned this in the shockland thread that the 5 shocks were at the tail end of the set, pushing basic lands out. My initial thought was that shocks were a special case and came after basics, but seeing two slots between foundry and vents, the fact that they aren't sequential, as well as confirmation now that basics come after, just means that we have alternate sources of basics. There's probably some sort of guildgate land that takes the slot, with basics being obtainable in the planeswalkers decks. I wonder if you can pull foil basics.

Maybe this is their way of trying to spoil less of the story. When we know how many cards there are then we can figure out beforehand some semblance of a story, but not knowing where they fit makes it a little more of a puzzle. Or something.

Interesting that their set numbers put them at the very end of the set, a spot usually occupied by basic lands. Also, it's worth mentioning that there are two spots open between Overgrown Tomb and Temple Garden, since the other three cards are alphabetically after the latter. Are basic lands being moved "outside" the set's base card count?

Most likely Vraska, since it fits alphabetically and they spoiled art of hers alongside Ral.
