I tried it for awhile... I liked it... but for some reason now, I don't have it anymore, which sucks.

If you already downloaded it, you can redownload it for free from the App Store.

Seriously, why haven't people heard of this amazing game?

    Golbez, Clad in Darkness 3BB
Legendary Creature - Human Warrior Wizard (M)
    Intimidate
When Golbez attacks, you may pay 2B. If so, tap up to 3 creatures defending player controls.
5BB: Put a legendary enchantment token named "Shadow Dragon" onto the battlefield. It has "T: Destroy target creature."
Whenever Golbez dies, instead transform Golbez.

    Golbez, Man in Black WB
    Legendary Creature - Human (M)
When Golbez attacks, you may pay 1. If so, tap target creature defending player controls. Put a paralyze counter on it. That creature doesn't untap during it's controller's untap steps.
,T: Golbez deals 9,999 damage to target creature.
    3/6

Flavor: Golbez is from the game Final Fantasy IV. His attack trigger is his attack Binding Cold. His Shadow Dragon can kill player characters in 1 hit with the Black Fang attack.
Golbez becomes the Man in Black in Final Fantasy IV: The After Years. His attack trigger is his Pressure move. Meteor can usually do 9,999 damage to a single target.

There are some FF-based challenges in the WIJ-type threads.

I'm not sure if you can do this, but I use the Testing Grounds quite frequently for temporary storage, and I was wondering if you can edit your posts. I would like to put some long writeups there (Custom Set blueprints, mafia setups) and I would like to ask the administrator of the forum to please kindly put the EDIT button on the Testing Grounds.

    Thank you!

    Unvote Vote la3

I find la3's recent post to be much more scummy. Plus, I believe that TheVoid is Scorpio.

Warning: TheVoid is now at L-1.

@George: Even though my personal playing style is obviously nearly not as... 'insulting' as yours, I see where you're coming from. But on the other matters, I must refer to what I said previously: perhaps I'm not experienced enough, but I'm just not seeing your reasons for pinkfloyd being scum. What's more, his scum hunting against TheVoid may well have led to the situation we are in now. Anyway, do you (still) regard him -pinkfloyd- as scum?

@Prophylaxis: There's a remedy for that: click in the drop-down menu in the lower left corner of the page on 'default'. But I've chosen my color especially with the idea of being readable in both light and dark skins. Do you have any troubles reading mine?

Don't just jump on a bandwagon at the latest moment when everyone else seems to be joining it. Why would you do that? Even before TheVoid has claimed? What's more, I have trouble bringing this vote into accordance with a previous post:
    (underlining added for emphasis)

Please explain your sudden 180 degree move? Because I can't.

I know that, but I prefer to have it on a dark background. My eyes get tired if I have to look at a white screen for an ex. period of time.

Let's double judge then! So Prohpy, do you want to post cards for eachother's challenge?

    Jong-il Double 2UB
Legendary Creature - Human Shapeshifter (R)
Jong-il Double enters the battlefield as a copy of target creature.
Whenever a creature dies, Jong-il Double becomes a copy of that creature.

Refers to Kim Jong-il's many body doubles to protect him from assassination attempts.

    Battering Ram v2 3
    Artifact (U)
All creatures you control gain banding. (Any creatures with banding, and up to one without, can attack in a band. Bands are blocked as a group. If any creatures with banding you control are blocking or being blocked by a creature, you divide that creature's combat damage, not its controller, among any of the creatures it's being blocked by or is blocking.)
Whenever creatures you control attack in a band, that band gets +3/+3 and gains trample until end of turn.

    And my autocorrect sucks.

    Here's my list.

    1. Digicooldad - Neutral
    2. tezzeret12 - Neutral
    3. Sir Mu - prob. town
    4. Trusted Wave (M. Sepiriel) - Neutral
    6. Arnnaria - Neutral, my gut gives a slight hint of scum though.
    7. Brinatoo (M. Iso) - My gut says prob. scum. Need more though.
    8. Prophylaxis - You're kidding, right?
    9. Pinkfloyd - I won't vote for pinkfloyd because he's been killed/lynched D1 in so many games.
    10. Heart of Draco - prob. town
    11. Gigas1 - prob. town
    12. TheVoid985 (Replacing Exchangebang) - Neutral

This is supposed to be quick and dirty who's who. I will give out explanations except for gut feelings because I can't explain my gut.

I'll revise my list. Sorry for being so inactive; I haven't really gotten on a computer.

    2. tezzeret12 - Neutral

Right now I like Arnnaria as scum. I'll Vote Arnnaria.

The iPad reason is foolish. I don't know of any differences between iOS hard/software, but last time I checked I could multiquote on my iPod. I even did a full judging on the WIJ-type threads.

Oh yeah, storyline wise, this actually makes no sense at all. Karn only became a planeswalker and created Mirrodin after the events of Apocalypse, in which Yawgmoth and Phyrexia were completely destroyed. Mirrodin couldn't invade Phyrexia because, for the length of Mirrodin's existence, Phyrexia pretty much didn't exist. The contagion that Karn left on Mirrodin when he made it caused Phyrexia to grow again; Phyrexia never even came to Mirrodin, it was always there.

Of course it doesn't. Sorry, Vorthoses!

I'm open to the double judging. This will be interesting.

    Creature - Bear (M)
All other creatures you control lose all abilities and become 2/2 green Bears with the name "Grizzly Bears" and have the flavor text Don't try to outrun one of Dominia's Grizzlies; it'll catch you, knock you down, and eat you. Of course, you could run up a tree. In that case you'll get a nice view before it knocks the tree down and eats you.
Whenever you would cast a creature spell, pay 1G instead.
At the beginning of your end step, destroy all creatures that are named "Runeclaw Bear".

As I put my Quill on Parchment, my opinions race through my head and I begin formulating critiques.

brasil_dude101: This card looks interesting on paper, but I just don't feel it plays well in theory. The problem is, the card has a symmetry to it in a 2-player game (you do something with it, then the other guy does, usually just reversing your action). But the problem is that breaking the symmetry does depend on the opponent's actions too much. If, say, you had a Voltaic Key, you can combine the two to exile two permanents. Then your opponent can just take the hit, hold onto the T-Key, and return one when V-Key has left the battlefield or something. So it exiles one permanent and sort of exiles another. Which is nice, but nothing special. On its own you basically sort-of-exile one permanent (which doesn't help too much as your opponent can get it back on your end step and untap with it). It's just too hard to do interresting stuff with, which is disappointing for a Johnny card.

CodGod: I like both abilities on this card. They're both useful on their own and combine really well. My one criticism is that all the effects are overcosted. You could knock it down to 3cmc, one mana (or maybe stay at two) for the spirit and sac 3 spirits for the exile and it wouldn't be broken (if rather powerful in sealed).

    Jimmy Groove: No card?

Lordschuft: It's kind of interesting. Sort of like turning a land into a super Safe Haven. I personally think that it's too cheap for what it does. You blink your entire team every other turn. Even a couple of ETB abilities and you're gaining ridiculous amounts of advantage. I would have toned it down a bit, because, while it is a good idea, it's just an easily abusable effect.
Also, as written, the card doesn't work. The land's ability (granted by the fortification) is what exiles the creatures rather than the fortification itself, hence the second ability doesn't return anything. Just a minor nitpick, though.

Pocketwatch: It seems a bit random to me. It costs 7 mana to play and equip - the sort of cost at which a decent creature is turned into a monster by a good equipment. But this doesn't do that. It is entirely dependent on combat happening (which is itself dependent on your opponent letting it happen). The untapping ability is strong, but the tapping ability isn't particularly relevant postcombat. Similarly, though the second ability does have some use, using the combat trigger to untap the creature has absolutely no synergy with it (and if the creature has activated abilities, they can usually just activate them in response to your card's ability). It just doesn't do enough to justify cost, rarity, complexity etc.

Egak: So, as written, when your creature deals combat damage, you get to exile your own creature? Why am I paying 6 mana for this?
On the other hand, if it's meant to exile the creature dealt combat damage, then why would I not just pay 2 extra mana for Sword of Kaldra which is just better in every way possible while on the board?

Takaline: The design is alright, it's just not really mythic. All it does is mess with combat. It grants two abilities - one is weaker than Thundersong Trumpeteer, one is weaker than deathtouch. The abilities don't combine in any way either. There's just nothing mythic here.

    Timothy, Mimeslayer: No card.

Must admit, this was a hard challenge, but a number of cards could have done with an evaluation. A card which only affects combat is average limited fodder, not a mythic legend.

I like how you completely ignored my comments I had on you. Then again, I could see a reason why you wouldn't want to respond to all posts. It would be time consuming, wouldn't it? Is that so?

I do however agree that Audinho's argument on your supposed lying is quite weak, and shouldn't be used as the only argument against you. But if you don't see Audinho as scum, what are your reasons to see him as town?

    Ok.
    That's nice.
So... your reason to vote for theVoid was...? Because you failed to see his earlier reasons to vote for Bush? You could've just read their previous quarrels. But oh, I see it. You're not interested in reading day 1 posts:

    Why is that?

I'm not a big fan of day one. I see it as a bunch of posting, lots of skimming, and generally makes playing mafia for me more work than play.

    The Mirrans invade Phyrexia.

EDIT: Whoops, didn't know that Transtorch posted first. Since I like my challenge, I'll leave it to the players to decide.
