Things are good at home. The card playing is commonplace and the ganja is plentiful. Made 120 in commissions yesterday and had a mean pay last fortnight. Oh, and I'm posting from the comforts of my conservatory/session room, in one of the seats I scored at an auction haha
You know what's been eating all my time? Sorting all my financials out and moving into my own place, buying a new computer, and generally getting everything sorted

Hey guys I'm alive New job now so I'm not homeless anymore and life is good. Started up a tiny little MtG league up here so I finally have people to play against again. Getting pretty close to Christmas, which means boxing day right after both me and one of my workmates are working 10 hour boxing day shifts that also happen to fall on our birthdays -.- woo for the busiest retail trading day of the year!
My ten year old brother has come to me with the request that I educate him in the ways of heavy metal/hard rock/classic rock. Thought I owe you guys an update considering my extended inactivity - I'm currently semi-homeless, mostly couchsurfing or living with my dealer friends while I desperately try to secure a job. I can't live with my parents unless I pay board and I ran outta money weeks ago. Can't move in with my girlfriend in Melbourne because her family is about to move house. Still, once she's settled in, things should settle down and I might regain some sort of control over my life
I see the secret santa has kicked off, looking forward to that! (I'll definitely make sure to participate so nobody gets shafted!)
Haven't been living at home lately since I can't afford my board since losing my job, rather inactive currently. Moving to Melbourne to live with my girlfriend as soon as I can afford the air fare. Anyone wanna buy a goyf? ;p
Okay yeah I've been inactive for a while - things have been hectic on the Jake train. Lost my job because my contract expired and the chick who left on pregnancy leave came back, had my girlfriend back and staying with me for a few weeks, and just generally been all over the place IRL. Time to start reading back and seeing what I missed o.o
Running out of money and desperately needing a new job... Scraping by teaching kids music at the moment. Haven't turned cards in forever, but I bought a fat pack of Theros regardless. No notable pulls though :c
