LandBoySteve posted a message on Complaining about Power Creep? No, it's not bad. It improves the game, even though I liked it fine when spells were just spells, but I get why WotC is going in this direction. The game is more balanced now. It's better defined. It doesn't have a lot of the screwball stuff that we had years ago.Posted in: Magic General
Don't get me wrong. I liked old Magic and miss parts of it. But I also like new Magic too and like creatures that do more than just beat face. -

Alarid posted a message on Complaining about Power Creep?Okay, I get it. Some things are just more powerful than they were before. Jace, Mystic, better CMC to P/T ratios. But what I don't get is when players complain about it with vanilla creatures. Sure, you can't play your Craw Wurm anymore, because Titans are strictly better. But, you were just playing it because it's a 6/4. Isn't it a good thing that you are playing creatures for reasons other than P/T?Posted in: Magic General
I bring this up, because I keep seeing people complain about Dryad Militant, because it is "strictly better" than most 2/1's for one mana. But, the only reason that it's better is because it has an ability and an easier cost. Which of course are the only reasons to play it.
Is power creep "bad" when all it's doing is updating old creatures to the new design philosophy, that creatures should be more than just P/T and a cost? - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

I...
Honestly? **** off. OH EM GEE THIS GUY DOESNT LIKE THE SAME SHOWS AS ME N HE LIKES MY LITTLE PONY THEREFORE HES A TROLL LOL I CAN LOGIC no. NO! Shut up. Just... stop.
THIS. ONE BILLION TIMES THIS.
Agreed. I mean I like the show, but some people here COUGH COUGH TRANQUILO are acting pretty superioristic.
Kill yourself. At this point I really don't care how many infractions I get from this, as I'm in a bad mood and you guys are insulting my show - not that I care so much about the insults as much as I care about how everyone who doesn't like it assumes it's a troll. I don't like Hannah Montana. I might even insult it - it's bad, there, I said it. But I don't think the only reason people watch it is because they're trolls.
tldr a lot of you guys are acting like your head is stuck up your ass.
