I like your deck, it's similar to mine just without splashing Red for my fourth colour. Do you feel like throwing in an alt wincon incase someone deals with your mill strategy or your Lingering Souls?
I've not prepared a sideboard, as i rarely play G/W so i've no idea what to include.
Secret Tech is Brindle Boar. He is a Turn 2 play usually, able to get on the beat down. Being able to Sac it in combat on Defence, recur constantly with Sun Titan all the while gaining 4 life is pretty neat. Equip this guy with a SoFaF and he's a decent threat.
Sun Titan is the core of the Deck. There's plenty i can recur from the Grave with this guy, so having 8 of them with the Image is awesome.
2 Restoration Angels help reset (kill) Image, give me an extra Splicer, save my guys from combat, as well as Gain 5 life + 3/3 beast from Thragtusk.
Splicer and Thragtusk is a nod to the metagame. We need to gain life to race the aggro decks, mostly zombies. Having a 3/3 First strike on the splicer lets us profitably block anything that they have, even messenger. Thragtusk is value on a stick.. no real questions why he is in.
Forbidden Alchemy lets us dig to what we need as well as adding fuel to the fire for Sun Titan. Ratchet Bomb and O-ring clears the way for our 6/6's to crash through and both are recurable through Sun Titan.
I've thought about Acidic Slime but it's non-synergystic with Titan, however Resto/Image can copy them if need be. Probably a sideboard card against 3 colour decks or control. I hate LD though.
The side board is what i want some suggestions for. Sure, it's meta dependant.. but the meta changes every couple of weeks.. so any advice is good advice.
In Australia our access to MTG cards/supplies is already extremely limited, so if they're no longer in print I'd say for sure you're going to have to look overseas.
Any directions to point your finger? Had no luck with eBay.
I saw an Ultra Pro playmat with the Vampire Nighthawk art on it but i cannot find any online or around my local stores - i think they're no longer in print.
Does anyone know of anywhere i can look to fine one?
Also, i'm in Australia so easy access/postage must be avaliable.
Thinking of putting away the old U/W control deck and playing a new deck better fitted for the Standard meta. Here's a pretty rough deck that i threw together that i think might work. I'd love to play 4 colour control with Ponders, Temporal Mastery etc but the mana fixing isnt that good at the moment and i'd get pretty frustrated with slow draws.
What is the point of printing sub-par Mythics? I understand there's a quota to fill but surely those cards can be downgraded to regular Rares and leave the Mythics to be "worthy" of such a rarity. I'm sure we can all think of a few Mythics that could quite easily have been printed as regular rares.
In my mind, Mythic rares should be Planeswalkers, Legendary Creatures and cards that have a significant ability or impact that contributes to the game. Mythics shouldn't just be an "I win" card of course, but I'm sure we can all agree that there are a fair few Mythics (and a LOT of rares) that probably don't deserve such a status.
I'm not so ignorant that I would judge cards out of context and on face value (every card has it's use and place in a deck), I'm just questioning how Mythics are valued by Wizards and the community.
Do you think that all the current Mythics deserve "Mythic" status or should Wizards re-evaluate their generosity when deciding what is rewarded with such a stature?
Do you think Wizards have gotten better with their last couple of blocks?

I've shuffled up a similar style deck and having a lot of fun playing it. If you don't find it fun to play, then play what you enjoy.
I usually build competitive decks and try to win every game.. but sometimes, i just want to play magic.
