Hmm... not quite sure if I'm feeling the Wirekin. It would have to be quite a strange plane for that to work. The Absorb mechanic is decent though.

Not sure if this has been done before (and it's a bit wordy but...)
Paying Tribute2B
Enchantment (R)
At the beginning of your upkeep, if you control two or more creatures, sacrifice target creature with the lowest power among creatures you control. Put a number of +1/+1 counters equal to that creatures power on target creature with the highest power among creatures you control.
Next: A pump spell that gives a creature at least +5 to power.
If we're worried about the card being underpowered (as Moon-E mentions, most pingers just turn sideways and deal a damage), we could try to up it to 2/3 instead of 1/2. Or we could just up the P/T to 2/2.
Trevin slaps his hands together and says, "Well, I guess it's time to go grub hunting!" He grabs his gear and trudges off to about 20 paces away from the grubs. He lines up his shot, and lets the arrow fly!
Ok, with LnGr's and Atog's cards we've spent :1mana::symw::symg:, mine costs but adds one colored mana. So we've used about :4mana::symg:(or :symw:). Now we just need our Druid to create a land the produces :symg:(or :symw:, depending on which color he makes, I'll change mine to produce the other.)
We've basically used :4mana:. Not too bad.
Edit: Also, LnGr you need to add a Rarity to your card.
Edit 2:
Show me a non-Creature Artifact that destroys another Artifact. I don't think that Artifact Destruction is in the Artifact part of the pie.
Hmm good point. I went and added a rarity to mine.
Also, LnGr and Raptor, your cards are mutually exclusive. As in, only one of them is needed to actually pass the challenge. Why don't one to you try to pick up some teamwork points with a card like "When X happens, add Y to your mana pool." This way we could save some mana too. Just my 2 cents.
Put a 2nd option above. I think it's less flavorful, but more synergetic. Let me know what you guys think.

Whenever a creature taps for mana, Desperate Hobo deals 1 damage to that creature.

Raptor, I think we only have one "turn"... therefore, you'd need haste to get that mana. And I can make a card that tap two creatures for one WI believe...
TanglenetW
Instant (U)
Tap target creature.
Storm A non-lethal yet still effective way to pacify the masses.
Then you can create a card that destroys an artifact ETB, and our Warlock can save some mana with a cheaper "Destroy artifact" spell. Heck, we might even be able to do a green "Destroy artifact, get colorless mana back" type of spell, as green does both (artifact kill/ramp).
What about the card that makes a spell "Epic"? Couldn't you just choose an "extra turn" card and then win out? (Assuming you had advantage in board control that is.)
Trevin Reistaff responds to the goblin with slight displeasure... "Bugs eh? Well, I've had more glorious jobs, but beggars can't be choosers, right?" Trevin pulls out his pockets to show a lack of coinage in them. "So, if you're willing to pay, I'm willing to hunt. Where are the best grubs? I'm assuming you want some big, fat, giant sized ones right? I don't really care to dig in the dirt for you, no offense."
I'm using the cards for what it's worth. I'm guessing that insects don't count as animals, right?
Trevin laughs at the eagerness of the goblin. "Why choose just one? I rarely adventure without getting paid, so there's the work! And any good adventure always includes a little mystery! While we're at it, I wouldn't mind directions to a tavern with some good food and better-than-average looking women! So speak away little Goblin, and tell me what you think I need to hear!"
As he says this, he looks over at the formerly hooded person, who revealed a quite blue head. Trevin's eyebrows raise slightly, and he shifts ever so subtly away from the blue man.
Trevin Reistaff looks at this group of adventurers. Many of them look to be mystics or thieves, two types which Trevin has always found trouble sharing interests with. The only salt of the earth seemed to be talking to the shrouded man, which gave Trevin an ominous feeling.
On the other hand, the little Goblin is practically begging for the attention of the visitors. Feeling some pity on him, Trevin gathers his gear and heads over to talk to the little guy...

No one picked a green Shaman? What are we going to do without a Druid? Oh noes!
