Looking back over everyone's comments on UR01, I think either of these cards answer most of the complaints that the rest of the cards generated. How would everybody feel about us narrowing it down to these two?
Notatog :1mana::symr: Creature - Gremlin

Nope. The tokens aren't entering the battlefield from your hand. You get the one guy, plus the token copies for however much damage you've dealt. (It also means you don't get any copies of the guy for reanimating him, or when you flicker him.)
Ah, missed that detail. That's why I enjoy being in the custom card section... I learn so much about various MtG rules, and it also reminds me to read each card closely and carefully. (Not that I follow that advice all the time, obviously.)
Well, for one, you could put it in today's thread rather than yesterday's. Never mind, you got that covered.
Um... this is basically Mana Drain, except you get colored mana out of it. To be honest, I'd just have it add that spell's mana cost to your mana pool - granted, it works somewhat differently (you get colorless from X and generics rather than the mana your opponent spent, and you can switch hybrid mana up to the color that wasn't spent), but it's roughly the same.
The alternative is just "Add the mana spent to cast that spell to your mana pool."
And you don't need to let people get less mana out of it - mana burn isn't a thing anymore.
tl;dr: Either "Add the mana spent to cast that spell to your mana pool." or "Add that spell's mana cost to your mana pool."
Thanks Mdenham, that's what I was looking for. Cheers! And yes, as soon as I posted it, I was like... "Wait.. uhm.. that's not today, is it?"
Contagion Fog - Decent card, at a decent cost, though it might annoy a few White Weenie players. I also think it would've been fine without the green part of the hybrid. From a flavor perspective, I almost wish the fog was an enchantment... an instant that keeps popping up seems more like an actual virus (people getting sick) than a fog. 7/10
Chained Dragon4RR
Creature - Dragon (R)
When Chained Dragon enters the battlefield, put two 1/1 white Human tokens onto the battlefield under your control.
If you control no other creatures, Chained Dragon gains +8/+0, flying and trample.

Target player discards their hand, then draws up to seven cards. Target player loses life for each card drawn this way.
Oh wow I just got on to judge and you already judged. I love you Emocakes! (Srsly, this **** is too fast paced).
Poke0
Sorcery R
Poke deals 1 damage to target player.
You should go back and look at all the entries... ALL of them...
NON-RED DAMAGE!
Psychotropic Substance2UB
Enchantment
As long as Psychotropic Substance remains on the battlefield, target player plays with the top card of his or her library revealed.
Whenever that player reveals a card, that player loses 1 life. Users say the drugs greatly enhance one's perception, but it comes with a cost.
Brofaux Fiend3WWW
Creature - Demon
Whenever you play a spell, target opponent may not play spells until end of turn.

A quick question... if the "card" we create would be able to "survive" the round (say, we make a 4/4 creature against a 2/2 attacker), I'm guessing it doesn't carry over to the next round?
Trevin Reistaff
Archer
Starting mana: 2G
If these are the two, I'm voting Manic Gremlin.

Counter target spell. Add the mana spent to cast that spell to your mana pool.
Edit: Also, I'm pretty sure Blackbull's card would create infinite copies...
Also, I think that Socrates' card was my favorite last round.

Vedalken Anatomist disagrees, unless you feel that card was a flavor mistake.
