Glissa, The Traitor (me) vs. Intet, the Dreamer:
GtT: Forest, Mox Diamond discarding Swamp, Leaden Myr, Pass
    ItD: Island, Pass
    GtT: Forest, Ezuri's Brigade, Pass
    ItD: Island, Ponder, Pass
GtT: Swamp, Piston Sledge on Ezuri's Brigade, beatface

The Mimeoplasm (me, Devour for Power) vs. Riku of Two Reflections (Mirror Mastery):
Riku is crushing me under foot as I'm basically getting mana flooded, and yet because of his ramp, Riku has nearly twice as much mana as I do. He's got Avatar of Fury, Trench Gorger, two 4/4 beast tokens, and Magus of the Vineyard in play. I have Grave Pact.

I play Dark Hatchling, destroying Avatar of Fury. He swings out and after blocking I'm down to 2 life. Riku's still at 40. My turn, I play The Mimeoplasm, cloning Dark Hatchling and exiling Avatar of Fury, taking out Trench Gorger with the hatchling's CiP effect.

The game comes to a standstill, as I can't afford to open myself up to attack, and Riku can't get through my defense any more for those last 2 points. Both of us build up for a while, with things like an evoked Mulldrifter and a Fleshbag Marauder combining with my Grave Pact to keep his numbers lower than mine.

Eventually, I've got an opening with my 9/9 Dark Hatchling (The Mimeoplasm) and I can maintain my defenses. Riku goes down to 31, laughing it off.

The next turn I topdeck Vow of Wilderness to make it a 12/12 Dark Hatchling (The Mimeoplasm), and swing in for the win on 21 general damage.

I have been testing mimeoplasm and it is definitely tier 2 and on the same level as momir, jhoira and clique. Mimeoplasm has potential though to become tier 1.5 with a tuned list.
It can play necrotic ooze instant win combo's, has access to the three strongest colors and the general can lead to direct wins itself. You can even play hermit druid in the deck, losing white protection and red haste but having a more stable manabase.
I bought the Devour for Power deck (mostly because it had an oversized Vorosh, the Hunter, which I already had as a general for another deck), and my friend bought Mirror Mastery. In the EDH games I've played since, Mimeoplasm has stomped all over Mirror Mastery (regardless of the general my friend uses for it), and all of the constructed EDH decks I've played it against among my friends (and friends without their own decks who borrow my other two EDH decks). The only time my Devour for Power didn't lose was with a lucky setup with my Glissa, the Traitor deck in a multiplayer game where the person playing Devour for Power was new to Magic, and was distracted by Mirror Mastery.

And it's not really that the Devour for Power deck is super strong; Devour for Power really just fill up graveyards so that The Mimeoplasm can eat better creatures. Stick Mimeoplasm in a different type of deck and you get a great general that comes out later, rather than a great general that comes out sooner.
