At my LGS, whenever someone was trying to make a trade, they'd turn to someone with a smartphone to ask the value of each card. In larger trades, it could get very tedious to look up each card and try to balance the transaction. That's why I decided to make my MtG Trader app.
Sometimes, especially with my friends, I don't get so specific on trade value. But it helps to have resources on-hand.
The other thing to consider with Liege is that you don't have to put Awakening counters on all of your lands. Keep a number of them as land-only as backup in case of a wrath effect. Even a couple of 8/8 lands (after being smacked by an 8/8 Liege) is a threat.
Probably not the one you're referring to, since they do parody plays, not music. Went to see them at the ren faire last fall doing Romeo & Juliet. If you can call it that.
I believe 100% in science. Since science cannot conclusively prove one way or another that God exists, that leaves me firmly in the "undecided" camp. Of course I believe in evolution so that pretty well rules out God's existance as far as Christianity is concerned.
Well, most of Christianity, not all. But a good answer.
I consider myself atheist, though I do celebrate Christian holidays. (Really, they're more like "Capitalism holidays", now.) But religion and theology are still interesting subjects, so I do on occasion ponder on the nature of God(s). I figure it's more like a kid with an ant farm than anything else.
The only religious ceremonies I've been to were weddings (very very Venezuelan Catholic, as well as Jewish), and besides that the only holy buildings I've been in were ruins in Germany and pretty much the entirety of the Vatican.
I wouldn't mind if movie theaters adopted this policy for PG-13 and R rated movies.
The movie theaters I attend already have such a policy for R-rated movies, and have for years. IIRC the age limit is 5, but that seems low, considering the content of the movie.
I agree that its not a settled issue. Which is why to just casually throw out there "well its legal, so you could have just had an abortion!" Is not merely callous, but abhorrent.
Ethical or not, an abortion is a legal procedure a woman can take with an unwanted pregnancy. She is permitted by law to make that choice; another choice along the path towards bringing a child into her family.
I'm of the opinion that "I'm not a woman, so I get no say in the debate on abortion". However, it is still a legal option. (And even if it were illegal, a crude, unsafe abortion is fairly easy, though a very bad idea.)

I see no problem with businesses choosing to ban young children. I wouldn't normally specifically seek out such establishments (I'm pretty good at building brides and getting over them), but I support the idea.
Once you activate Transmuter, bouncing itself, not even split second can kill it. This is because bouncing an artifact in the Transmuter's ability is part of the cost of the ability.
The reference to split second is about targeting the Transmuter with a spit second spells before Transmuster activates its ability. Split second would prevent Transmuter responding with a self-bounce.
Glissa, the Traitor + Thornbite Staff: Wipe your opponent's board, and refill your hand with all the artifacts you've dumped there.
(Unfortunately, this requires spending mana. But still, there's plenty of infinite mana combos available, and it's still good without going infinite.)
Eternity Vessel with fetchlands (or instant-speed land-fetching abilities). Go from 40 to 10 to 40 again. Bonus points for Doubling Season or proliferate effects.
Platinum Emperion. Sorin/Magister won't be targeting you any time soon.
Big beats in 40 life formats are not enough to get the job done.
But it's not just a fattie. It's a fattie and a tutor/removal. In a singleton format, one card serving multiple uses is very good. And creatures are easier to recur than instants/sorceries, so you can repeat those CiP abilities.
Also, seems pretty good for a discard/disruption deck strategy.

There, turn 0!
(admittedly, that's not a 'cast'...)
