7 year 10 mo super-lurker here, (54 posts, most of which was within the last month or so) ready to follow whatever incarnation MTGSalvation becomes! I love the spoiler layout of MTGSalvation and its community discussions, even though I rarely took part in the discussions myself.
Thank you to the creators/owners/mods/community for making MTGSalvation an enjoyable spoiler/idea hub for us lurkers!

Yes, I'm sure it was a very conscious decision to exclude white. Otherwise the deck builds itself in the most obvious ways.
For example: Sagu Mauler is face down with Rayami out. The Mauler dies, is exiled face up with a blood counter by Rayami's ability, and grants Rayami trample and hexproof?
I think this is the commander I'm most excited for out of the 4 decks, because I love the idea of keyword soup. Previously it was Sevinne. We'll see if this legendary creature holds my attention throughout spoiler season.
Nice card against planewalkers either to catch them as they're cast or, if you draw this after its been cast, to counter an ultimate ability going off.
There was a big ruckus when he was revealed about how his ability should work as written, versus what was intended.
Basically people interpreted it as written as once you copy his abilities (via Quicksilver Elemental, for example), the "once per turn" clause goes away and you can do infinite combos super easy. However as was clarified here, I believe: https://twitter.com/EliShffrn/status/897894399329222656, the once per turn clause is tacked onto each ability of the caged cards. So copying Mairsil's abilities will also copy the "once per turn" clause.
It's like they learned from their Mairsil, the Pretender ambiguous wording.
Also puts a damper on certain discard spells.
He likes to be flickered too. What a good boy.
Zedruu the Greathearted group hug can steal an opponent's permanent with this, and funnel both those cards to another opponent, to help them trigger the draw 3 cards, too.
Except your lands...become dorks with Nissa, Who Shakes the World. Tap a Forest or Breeding Pool and friends for GGG, anyone?
Edit: Just realized Nissa makes your lands into Elementals, which should be getting some pretty smexy support with M20. Maybe an elemental shell with this Leyline and Nissa for lots of mana?
Yarok will not trigger when you play the land because the enchantments say "play a card" versus what Yarok is looking for: "enter(s) the battlefield". When you play a land the enchantments will trigger once each. When you play Fleshbag Marauder, you draw a card for the cast trigger, then when it lands you copy the "enters the battlefield" trigger. Hopefully you have another creature aside from Yarok or else you'd have to sacrifice him to the Marauder's ETB ability.
In contrast to Null Profusion and Recycle, if you have Retreat to Hagra out and you trigger the landfall ability - that will be copied. You can even choose the first mode once and the second mode once for each of the two triggers. Key words are "enter(s) the battlefield".
