If you download the MWS EasyInstall (see link in my signature) you will see I have a database of over 6 card games.
I have pictures of the card clothing: Pokemon, WoW and VS (besides magic) which was already a good start ...
Ok, I see databases for these games in "MWS EasyInstall",
but I can't find full pictures for these games on your site.
- All the tools of analysis and statistics of the decks MWS
Users almost ignoring my software when only deck editor was available, and no feature request about "I want analysis and statistics in first order",
It's why I force online play implementation, now three months later I implemented online play feature, and many users already interested with it.
"analysis and statistics" will be available, but not in first priority. Current development focused on online gameplay feature. It's only 0.5.8 and I have a lot in my to do list before 1.0 released.
- Do not allow databases to be easily manipulated (such as the MWS)
Database now has all card variant with all languages, it's now in xml file and about 90Mb size, I use it in special prepared and compressed binary form to fast load, but other sets can be simply added via text xml file (documentation will be later)
Game module source code (card rendering, game state actions and play scene controls) will be open for anyone who can change or create game module for other games. But main runtime Playtable.exe will be closed, it's my decision. I see cocatrice is open source, but it has much worse interface than my new software.
Java language allows decompile .jar/.class files back to source code, change it and compile/replace back. This way any code/project on Java is like open source.
Modular-based programs are best designed as empty shells with expansive scripting languages, and provide the player with as few "default" functions as possible.
In my new software I made it with main core in C++ and module implementation in Java. All game-specific dialogs and play state/scene/commands can be simple implemented for any game by subclassing base Java classes.
It is not ready yet, but some screenshots available there http://virtualplaytable.com/forum/discussion/11/game-play-0.4-first-preview
Gameplay is about 10 Java classes for Scene interface, about 10 for Game State and 30 small classes for Commands (they will be serialized and send via network for online play).
All base Scene-State-Commands-Network iteractions implemented in C++, but it is don't know anything about game.

what other card game do you want in first order? Are you have database and card images for it?

>Virtual Playtable – seems promising, but has not seen a gameplay-based release yet.
In last 0.4 version it contains solataire gameplay mode, build deck and press "Test" button on toolbar. Online play will be in next version 0.5.
